Here is everything from WWE NXT 2.0 Results including winners, and Highlights from February 8
This week’s WWE NXT 2.0 saw two semifinal matchups of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Bron Breakker host a Championship summit with Santos Escobar ahead of their NXT Vengeance Day clash. Let us find out in brief about the WWE NXT 2.0 Results.
1.Dusty Tag Team Classic: Creed Brothers vs Grizzled Young Veterans
Creed Brothers dominated the match early, but Grizzled Young Veterans came back and isolated Brutus Creed. But after much hustle, Brutus finally made the tag to Julius Creed. Then, after a big suicide dive by Drake, GYV hit Doomsday Device for a near fall.
Liverpool’s Number 1 got the upper hand over Brutus with a vicious throat strike and set him up in the corner. Julius hit a side slam followed by a low clothesline from Brutus, which was enough to get the victory.
Result: Creed Brothers defeated Grizzled Young Veterans to advance to the men’s Dusty Tag Team Classic finals.
2. Wendy Choo vs Tiffany Stratton
After using Tiffany Stratton’s black credit card, Wendy Choo made her way to the ring with Amari Miller with bags of fresh clothes.
Stratton was up to take her revenge on Wendy Choo as she found her second wind after breaking a nail. Stratton ran over her sleepy opponent and hit a Vader Bomb for the victory.
Result: Tifanny Stratton defeated Wendy Choo via pinfall
3. Pete Dunne vs Draco Anthony
Draco Anthony tried to gain some momentum after his first loss as Joe Gacy and Harland came to him with a proposition. Anthony started off nicely against Dunne but was distracted too often.
After Dunne dodged a surprise attack from Tony D, The Bruiserweight took the win in the end with the Bitter End. However, this was not all, as, after the match, he snapped D’Angelo’s fingers, grabbed some weapons and decided to change their contest into a weaponized steel cage match.
Result: Pete Dunne defeated Anthony by pinfall
4. LA Knight vs Sanga with Grayson Waller
LA Knight took the upper advantage as he tried to chop down Sanga. He hit him with a big dropkick and kicked at his knees. Grayson Waller attempted to help his bodyguard, but while doing so was only seemed to interrupt the match.
The Million Dollar Mega Star sent Sanga into the steel post. Knight took the advantage and sent the big man into the exposed steel, followed by a neck breaker to win.
Results: LA Knight defeated Sanga by pinfall
5. Dolph Ziggler interrupts Bron Breakker and Santos Escobar’s Championship Summit
Bron Breakker wanted to get the fight started, but Escobar slowed down as Dolph Ziggler made his entry and interrupted them. After that, the Showoff made it clear that he wished for the gold he never had.
Tommaso Ciampa came in as he was offended by Ziggler claiming the NXT Championship. However, Escobar didn’t wait much and started taking out all three men one after the other.
Ciampa and Ziggler started brawling while Escobar sent Legado del Fantasma after the champ and sent Breakker through the table in the ring.
6. Dakota Kai vs Sarray
Sarray missed the Sun Ray Dropkick early, which gave Kai the advantage. She stomped her in the corner. However, The Warrior of the Sun fought back.
Kai missed the Kaio Kick and found her in the perfect position for the Sun Ray Dropkick and a fisherman’s suplex for the win in the end.
Results: Sarray defeated Dakota Kai by pinfall.
7. MSK vs Malik Blade and Edris Enofe
It should have been an easy match for Wes Lee and Nash Carter with the experience they have, but the underdogs’ Malik Blade and Edris Enofe fought really hard from the start.
They hit a big suicide dive, and then the stable hit Carter with combination offence into Enofe frog splash for a near fall. But it was just a matter of time for the experienced candidate as Lee got back into action just as they set up their finisher for the victory.
Result: MSK defeated Blade and Enofe by pinfall to advance to the men’s Dusty Tag Team Classic finals.
8. NXT Women’s Championship Mandy Rose (c) vs Kay Lee Ray
Toxic Attraction built some tension between Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta after Indi’s hidden friendship with Duke Hudson. The Brawl between them left Mandy Rose without any backup.
The match started with the focus on hurting each other for the win. Rose hit a big spinebuster for a near fall. Lee responded with the KLR Bomb, but Rose reversed into a sunset flip bomb.
Gigi Dollin and Jacy Jayne saved Rose by sending Ray off the top rope to the floor. This allowed The NXT Women’s Champion to gain momentum and hit a bicycle knee for the win.
The Toxic Attract tried to hurt KLR with her own baseball bat, but Io Shirai arrived and helped Ray to layout Rose with the KLR Bomb and stood tall.
Results: Mandy Rose defeated KLR by pinfall.
