The December 28 episode of WWE NXT 2.0 saw some big contract signing and big matches. 

Raquel Gonzalez would team with Cora Jade against Toxic Attraction, and also the contract signing for a winner takes all bout in the WWE NXT 2.0 episode from December 28

WWE NXT 2.0 Results and winners

1.Grayson Waller vs Odyssey Jones

Waller continued his mocking on AJ Styles and talked up his arrival on Monday Night Raw. Odyssey came as a replacement for Dexter Lumis. Waller used every trick in the book to get an advantage as he accidentally exposed the turnbuckle to send Jones hard into the steel.

He followed it up with a rolling cutter for the win.

Result: Waller def Jones by Pinfall 

2. MSK and Riddle Challenge Imperium for New Years Evil

Riddle appeared by titantron and told MSK to challenge Imperium. Fabian Aichner and Marcel laughed, but it was not for too long as Walter arrived, and they all decided on a six-man tag team match for New Years’s Evil.

3. Harland vs Andre Chase at WWE NXT 2.0

Brian Kendrick did not come out for his match with Harland. Instead, Gacy grabbed the microphone and told Harland about Kendrick’s afraidness of confrontation. 

Chase interrupted to give Gacy and Harland some moment as he found Kendrick’s replacement.

Harland beat down Chase repeatedly until the referee called for the bell. In the end, Harland grabbed one of Chase’s students and carried him to the back.

Result: Harland defeated Chase by Referee stoppage.

4. Tiffany Stratton vs Fallon Henley

Tiffany Stratton finally made her debut as she threw around Fallon Henly and pulled off an impressive series of flips to set up an elbow as Daddy’s Little Girl got the victory with a reverse STO.

5. Roderick Strong and Carmelo Hayes sign contract for Unification Match

Wade Barrett introduced Roderick Strong and Diamond Mine. Trick arrived with Melo to warn them. However, Barrett took control of the situation. Hayes talked himself up with confidence for New Years Evil.

The Two men signed the contract as The Creed Brothers sent Bivens through the signing table.

6. Von Wagner vs Malik Blade

Von Wagner and Blade went head to head as the latter promised Wagner to beat him. But it was just some matter of tasks as Wagner overpowered him at every turn. First, he pounded the Blade into the mat with forearm strikes. Then, Wagner nearly got rolled up, but he somehow escaped the pin and hit the double underhook spin-outside slam for the win.

Result: Wagner defeated Blade by pinfall

7. Raquel Gonzalez and Cora Jade vs. Lo Shirai and Kay Lee Ray

Lo Shirai and Kay Lee Ray confronted the NXT Tag Team Champions Gonzalez and Cora Jade for the next title shot. But Mandy Rose changed the match to determine which two women would challenge the NXT Women’s Champion at New Year’s Evil.

Match started with KLR trapper her in a single leg Boston crab then tried the KLR Bomb, but Jade barely escaped. Ray took out Gonzalez with a suicide dive. Shirai hit a missile dropkick on Jade for a near fall. 

Gonzale hit KLR with the Chingona Bomb, but Jade took the blind tag. Jade rolled up Ray for three. 

Raquel and Cora Jade win against Gonzalez and KLR at NXT 2.0 (WWE)

Result: Gonzalez and Jade def Shirai and Ray by pinfall to earn the shot at the NXT Women’s Championship at New Year’s Evil.
