WWE NXT preview: Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley will look to pick up NXT titles in an incredible episode

WWE NXT preview: The latest episode of NXT features some cracking matches that could see major titles change hands. The episode opens with NXT Champion Adam Cole taking on Finn Balor.

Balor beat Keith Lee and Tommaso Ciampa to become the No.1 contender for the title.

Cole came out to meet Balor last week, and this could be one of the fights of the year, even though we are nearing the end of 2019.

Balor has attacked Cole in the past and this clash will kickoff NXT with no breaks too.

Ripley fights Baszler for Women’s title

Shayna Baszler will defend her crown against The Nightmare Rhea Ripley too. The champion attacked Ripley recently and set the date for the clash.

Ripley helped her team win at TakeOver WarGames but she wanted revenge on Dakota Kai for her betrayal during the PPV.

Time for more Garza celebrations?

Angel Garza beat Lio Rush to win the NXT Cruiserweight title in an incredible match. That clash could go down as one of the best in this month’s NXT, but there was more happiness for the new champ.

Garza also proposed to his girlfriend after the match, and she said yes!. It was all good for the champion and it will be interesting to see what the future holds for him.

Other storylines

Kushida wore Cameron Grimes’ hat during the Technical Savage’s match against Raul Mendoza.

That rivalry could continue further in the upcoming episode of NXT. Bianca Belair was also impressive in her bout, and she could be up for another fight on Wednesday.

WWE Worlds Collide is also coming soon and there were a couple of NXT vs NXT UK matches last week.

We should see more of the same on NXT this week with more cross-promotion clashes.
