WWE NXT Preview 24 June 2020: Huge triple threat match to decide North American title

Published by

WWE NXT Preview: This week’s NXT sees one of the biggest matches in the history of the promotion with the North American title on the line.

Keith Lee will defend his NXT North American title on this week’s show, and he has the chance of facing Adam Cole for the NXT crown.

However, two people are standing in the way of Lee, and this is where we start off with the WWE NXT preview.

Triple threat match

Lee faces Johnny Gargano and Finn Balor on this week’s NXT. The Limitless One has been involved in a rivalry with Gargano in recent weeks, but Balor came out to accost the pair, and Cole, last week.

It is an intriguing set up by GM William Regal. The winner of this clash faces Adam Cole later on, and the winner of that will hold both the titles.

Balor has recently put himself into the title mix after dealing with Damien Priest. This triple threat match could be one of the best of the year and a lot is riding on it.

Priest continues to fight

Cameron Grimes was seen laughing at Priest after slashing his tires, apparently, and the pair meet up again.

Grimes was attacked by Priest after NXT TakeOver: In Your House. Grimes did pick up a win over Balor recently, and it will be interesting to see which way the match swings.

Reed vs Kross

Karrion Kross made a huge impact by defeating Tommaso Ciampa, and he has another big rival set for this week.

Bronson Reed was laid out by Kross a few weeks back, and the Aussie will get his hands on Kross this week.

Reed called out Kross last week. He even dominated Leon Ruff and helped carry him to the backstage region.

That nicety won’t be on show this week as two behemoths clash in the NXT ring.
