WWE NXT Preview: The rivalry between Timothy Thatcher and Matt Riddle will be dealt with inside a cage.
The pair imploded spectacularly as Thatcher and Riddle went on to lose the tag titles to Imperium. Riddle and Thatcher never really got along and they finally met last week.
However, they will meet again on this week’s WWE NXT and here is the preview for the show.
Angle to call it
Kurt Angle was released from WWE recently but the Olympic champion will make his return on NXT.
Riddle and Thatcher will be involved in a cage fight, and it will be Angle acting as the special referee.
Angle spoke about how to win the fight, and it will be interesting to see how the clash goes. Riddle does have a lot of MMA experience but Thatcher is brutal in the ring and could take out the Original Bro.
There could also be some madness with Angle involved in all this.
Charlotte needs a friend
NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte has been excellent since winning the title. She has dominated NXT and even had big wins on Raw and SmackDown. However, her interference in the match between Io Shirai and Rhea Ripley seems to have cost her.
Not only is she facing a triple threat match at NXT TakeOver: In Your House for the title, she has to find a partner for this week’s show too.
Ripley and Shirai will team up this week but Charlotte needs to find a partner and soon.
Contract negotiations
Adam Cole wants to be done with Velveteen Dream and seeks a final solution. The NXT Champion demanded a one-to-one with GM William Regal regarding the Dream, and he will get it this week.
Cole’s Undisputed Era have been attacked by Dream and Dexter Lumis in recent weeks. However, Cole might want an end to this rivalry, but there is no guarantee what Regal might pull off.
The longest reigning NXT Champion has a target on his back, and that might become more visible after this week’s show.
