WWE NXT preview: Keith Lee and Dominik Dijakovic in action as Akira Tozawa fights Lio Rush
WWE NXT preview: NXT returns to action after a couple of stellar PPVs for the Black and Yellow brand.
WarGames saw some great action, however, NXT stole the show at Survivor Series 2019.
Triple H’s brand beat the two other brands and won several big fights. Shayna Baszler won her triple threat match, the women’s team did too and Roderick Strong won his clash too.
That sets up the upcoming NXT show well and there are some big clashes ahead.
Tag team title match on the line
Keith Lee was one of the stars across the two shows and earned the respect of Roman Reigns. He was great at WarGames alongside Dominik Dijakovic, Tommaso Ciampa and Kevin Owens as they beat the Undisputed Era.
Lee and Dijakovic will partner each other as they try to win the tag team belts from Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly.
The NXT champs were one of the few stars from the brand to lose at Survivor Series, and this should be an excellent clash between four quality wrestlers.
Rush to defend his title
Lio Rush has been reinvigorated since doing more singles fights. He isn’t saddled with Lashley anymore, and that has worked well for him.
The NXT Cruiserweight champion was another that picked up an inter-brand win at Survivor Series and will defend his title.
Akira Tozawa was defeated by Rush at Survivor Series, and the Raw star will get another shot at the title at Full Sail.
Angel Garza has also been doing his thing to distract Rush, and the WWE hinted that there could be some shenanigans that affects the champion.
Big explaining to do
One of the shocks WarGames was seeing Dakota Kai turnaround and beat her teammate Tegan Nox in the women’s match.
Kai kept on pummelling Nox and even tore her knee brace off.
Nox has asked for an explanation regarding this and Kai could share why she turned on the team.
Rhea Ripley’s side still picked up the win, and there could be a lot to digest in the upcoming NXT episode.
Ciampa keen on title again?
Ciampa was in action during Survivor Series and he did a great job at WarGames too. He beat Adam Cole in the WarGames match and the NXT Champion could be on The Blackheart’s list again.
Cole defended his title in an incredible match against Pete Dunne at Survivor Series. However, a new old challenge could be calling out to the leader of the Undisputed Era.
