WWE NXT Results and Grades: NXT was back after their Halloween Havoc special and there were some big storylines to be continued.
Cameron Grimes continued his rivalry with Kushida this time while Ember Moon had Io Shirai in her sights.
We start off this WWE NXT results and grades piece with a huge match.
Moon vs Kai
Dakota Kai took on Ember Moon in the opening match of the evening. Both stars looked great early on but Raquel Gonzalez interfered in the match and helped Kai get the win.

Kai beats Moon
Grade B
This was a great way to start off the show but the real story was Kai saying she had changed and was different.
Defeating a returning Moon is big for her and it will be interesting to see what is next for her.
Take off to the moon
Cameron Grimes still seemed to be having after effects from his zombie match from last week as he took on Kushida.
It's okay, @CGrimesWWE! The Haunted House of Terror Match is over!
That's just referee @WWEdarrylsharma. Yes, that's it… "referee." 馃槈#WWENXT pic.twitter.com/INHSJZE8Om

The referee was hit during the match and a zombie referee stepped in as Kushida got the win via a submission.
Kushida beats Grimes
Grade B
Grimes looked good again and this loss shouldn鈥檛 hurt him as much as the others. Kushida getting the win is great for him as his resurgence on NXT continues.
Kings of NXT
Before the pair got to work, Io Shirai called out former NXT Women鈥檚 Champion Rhea Ripley.
Drake Maverick and Killian Dain took on Ever-Rise in the next match. Before the match could even get going properly, Pat McAfee came out with his trio of stars and caused a no contest.

McAfee cut a promo as to how they were taking over NXT as The Kings from the Undisputed Era while Pete Dunne was upset with Roderick Strong joining UE and ditching him.

Dain tried to get some payback but was attacked by the quartet.
Maverick and Dain vs Ever-Rise is a no contest
Grade B
Ending this match as a no contest didn鈥檛 make sense as they could have progressed their storylines. However, McAfee is great on the microphone and the King of NXT could be dominating the show for a while.
A storm is coming
Shotzi Blackheart took on Toni Storm as the former NXT UK women鈥檚 champion got some action on her return.

Candice LeRae appeared on the Titantron to cause a distraction which led Storm to get a win. The Poison Pixie then destroyed Blackheart鈥檚 tank with a truck.
Storm beats Blackheart
Grade A
This was another great match highlighting how much Blackheart has developed in the past few months.
Blackheart vs LeRae should be an interesting clash and the tank getting destroyed could play a role in all this.
Legado del Fantasma attacked
Jake Atlas took out two members of Legado del Fantasma and then sent a warning to Santos Escobar.

Timothy Thatcher then continued his live sessions and attacked a couple of people before he ran off.

Xia Li was asked about the letters from Boa and then wanted to fight Raquel Gonzalez while Ripley accepted Shirai鈥檚 challenge.
Grade C
There was a lot going on in between with very little fighting. It makes sense that NXT is trying to build stories but some action in between would have been better.
Ciampa vs Dream
Tommaso Ciampa and Velveteen Dream closed off NXT as the main event. Ciampa concentrated on Dream鈥檚 arm cast and attacked it several times.

Dream even gave Ciampa a black eye and then went for a chair later on. However, the referee threw that away and Ciampa took advantage and hit him with the Fairy Tale Ending for the win.
Ciampa beats Dream
Grade B
This match was good but it was a surprise why Dream went for the chair that led to the distraction.
Dream vs Ciampa could have been better, but this was still a good match.
