WWE NXT Results and winners: WWE had several surprises on this week’s NXT
The big talking point from last week’s NXT was the return of Samoa Joe. The WWE star was released by re-signed quickly and he now serves as the muscle for William Regal.
This week’s NXT had some special matches with Adam Cole back in action and Franky Monet promised some big action too.
There was another big surprise at the main event, and here are the results from the 22 June episode of NXT.
Carmelo Hayes came out to challenge Adam Cole and slapped the NXT triple crown champion too.
Hayes put on an impressive show but it was Cole who got the win. Cole was then warned by Regal not to provoke Joe any more.

Io Shirai and Zoey Stark teamed up to face Aliyah ad Jessi Kamea. Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell were also watching the match and it was Shirai’s team that got the win.
Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez came out and clashed with Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart before Joe broke up the fight.
It was later announced that Shirai and Stark vs Kai and Gonzalez vs Moon and Blackheart would decide who the No.1 contender is for the women’s tag titles.
Zoey Stark and Io Shirai beat Jessi Kamea and Aliyah
Johnny Gargano and Austin Theory (The Way) took on Pete Dunne and Oney Lorcan. It was Gargano that got the win for his team but he was attacked by Karrion Kross after the match.
Joe then also eyed Dunne after an intense stare from Scarlett Bordeaux, Kross’ partner.

Elektra Lopez, who people might remember from the Bobby Lashley-Lana storyline, made her way to the ring to face Franky Monet.
Monet, however, made light work of Lopez and got a quick win.

Hit Row continued their impressive ways as they took on Ever-Rise. Ever-Rise tried to paint Hit Row’s van but were stopped by Top Dolla earlier in the day.
Hit Row got the win in the end.

Kushida vs Kyle O’Reilly was the main event on NXT. O’Reilly beat Kushida and this saw Cole come out and attack the winner.
Kushida was left alone in the ring and was attacked by Roderick Strong, Hideki Suzuki, Tyler Rust and Malcolm Bivens.
