WWE NXT results and winners: Xia Li picks up injury in championship match

WWE NXT had seen some major changes over the weeks with the likes of Karrion Kross, Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart are performing on the main roster.

Kross was still the NXT Champion and that was going to be addressed today. Further, Xia Li was to face Raquel Gonzalez for the NXT Women’s title.

However, we start off this WWE NXT results and winners piece with Diamond on our mind.

Bobby Fish and Kushida team up

Tyler Rust and Roderick Strong teamed up from Diamond Mine to face Bobby Fish and Kushida in a tag match.

It was the pairing of Fish and Kushida who picked up a hard fought win in the end.

Franky Monet in action

Franky Monet had Jessi Kamea by her side as she took on Jacy Jayne. Mandy Rose and even Robert Stone were near the ring, and it was Monet who got the win.

Austin Theory vs Kyle O’Reilly

Kyle O’Reilly took on Austin Theory in the next match. It was O’Reilly who got the win but there were a ton of problems backstage with The Way as they were upset over the loss and the Dexter Lumis and Indi Hartwell love angle.

NXT Breakout Tournament

Legado del Fantasma and Hit Row clashed before the next match. This saw Odyssey Jones face off against Andre Chase.

While Chase put on a good effort, it was Jones who got the win.

Odyssey Jones beats Andre Chase

LA Knight orders Cameron Grimes

LA Knight had his butler, Cameron Grimes, accompanying him as he took on Drake Maverick.

Maverick got a shock win over Knight and that led to a beat down. Knight then ordered Grimes to punch Maverick in the face and the butler had to do it.

Drake Maverick beats LA Knight

NXT Women’s clash

Li cut a promo before her match saying she would win the match. However, a vader bomb seemed to injure Li and she needed medical attention.

The officials allowed her to continue before Gonzalez finished her off.

Karrion Kross crosses a line

Samoa Joe was told by William Regal to deal with Kross in a peaceful manner but Joe was not going to.

After the main event, Joe called out Kross. However, Doomsday appeared on the titantron and told Joe he would do what he wants as he laid out Regal.
