WWE NXT results, grades and winners: Indi Hartwell proposed to Dexter Lumis after teaming up
NXT TakeOver was just a few days away and this was the perfect time to push some of the stories before the big event.
Samoa Joe vs Karrion Kross is one of the big talking points but then again, so is Kyle O’Reilly and Adam Cole.
The WWE NXT Breakout tournament also needed its second finalist but we start this WWE NXT results, grades and winners piece by bringing out Ilja Dragunov.
A surprise opponent for Roderick Strong
Roderick Strong was to face Kushida but the Japanese star was not medically cleared so Ilja Dragunov came out.
It was Dragunov who got the win and even got busted open. He called WALTER our after the match but there was no answer.

Isaiah “Swerve” Scott gets his grill back
Santos Escobar cut short a Hit Row promo and told Isaiah Scott to come alone if he wanted his grill back.
Scott was ambushed but Hit Row came out to save him and he even got his grill back.

Cameron Grimes attacked
LA Knight was willing to give $10,000 to Josh Briggs if he hurt Cameron Grimes. However, Ted DiBiase bet $20,000 that Grimes would win.
Grimes did get the win in the end but DiBiase got a punch from LA Knight for all his troubles.

InDex team up
Dexter Lumis and Indi Hartwell teamed up to face Robert Stone and Jessi Kamea in a mixed tag match.
It was the pair of InDex that got the win and Hartwell later proposed to Lumis. Lumis said yes and the pair are now engaged.

NXT Breakout Tournament
Carmelo Hayes took on Duke Hudson for a place in the final of the tournament. It was Hayes who got the win over Hudson and he promised to defeat Odyssey Jones too, who came out later to face his rival.

MSK vs Imperium
The NXT Tag team titles were on the line as MSK took on Imperium. WALTER tried to distract the referee but Dragunov came out to level the playing field.
In the confusion, it was MSK who got the win before WALTER attacked all three of his rivals.

Joe vs Kross face off
This was the final time when Joe and Kross were to face off before TakeOver. The pair started brawling and even security could not stop them as they went through a barricade.
