WWE NXT Results, winners, and grades: JD McDonagh and Tyler Bate will lock horns and the winner will get the chance to face Bron Breakker for the NXT Championship. Sanga takes on Von Wagner in what promises to be an intense and physical battle. Wendy Choo takes on an upbeat face Cora Jade.
Five-man ladder match for the NXT North American Championship at Halloween Havoc
We get footage of Solo Sikoa and Carmelo Hayes meeting with “Heartbreak Man” Shawn Michaels. The legendary Michaels said the results of the NXT North American Championship title match from last week won’t stand because the match wasn’t officially sanctioned, and Sikoa will have to relinquish the title.
Michaels wished Sikoa good luck on SmackDown. Hayes wanted his title back but Michaels said that he will not have the title back just like that. Instead, he will have to compete against four other men in a five-man ladder match at Halloween Havoc for the NXT North American Championship.
Axiom vs Nathan Frazer
Axiom used his unique array of offensive maneuvers to rattle Frazer. He went for his finisher but Frazer stopped him in his tracks with a Superkick. A few moments later, Axiom went up on the top rope but Frazer caught him and delivered a superplex followed by a Final Cut. Frazer went up on the top rope and delivered a Phoenix Splash to pick up the victory.
Winner – Nathan Frazer
Grade – A
We get a Damon Kemp vignette about him costing the Creed Brothers the tag titles. He admits that he’s been on the take from Tony D’Angelo and says he’ll fight either Creed one-on-one any time. However, the other one will have to stay in the locker room during the match.
Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne vs Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley
Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley got us underway. The former dominated proceedings and tagged in Jacy Jayne. Dolin tagged in and the domination continued.
Paxley eventually managed to make the tag to Ivy Nile. The Pitbull was all fired up as she took out her opponents. This was until the heels got back in the match with some in-tandem offense. After taking out Paxley, Dolin and Jayne used a double-team finisher on Nile to get the pinfall victory.

The Schism make their way to the ring
Joe Gacy and The Dyad talk about how they gave many opportunities to Cameron Grimes but the former NXT North American Champion failed to make the right decision. The wrath of The Schism is imminent. Malik Blade and Edris Enofe rushed to the ring and took out The Dyad.
Edris Enofe and Malik Blade vs The Dyad
Edris Enofe got off the blocks quicker and took out Fowler. Blade got the tag and he dropped Fowler. Reid made the tag as the heels momentarily took control. Blade got the tag and took out his opponents outside the ring to send us into a commercial break.
Upon returning, we saw Blade and Enofe dominating the match. Blade with right hands to Reid, whip reversed, blind tag to Fowler, and Malik gets dumped to the floor. In the end, The Dyad picked up the win after hitting a couple of lethal double-team maneuvers.

Cora Jade vs Wendy Choo
Cora Jade weathered the initial storm from Wendy Choo and dominated the match after hitting a stomp. A whip across followed by a belly-to-belly suplex. German suplex connects and the heel eventually gets the win after delivering a German suplex followed by a DDT.
Winner – Cora Jade

After the match, Lash Legend made her way to the ring and took Choo out with a big boot.
Bron Breakker is interviewed backstage. He thanks the NXT Universe for voting him Superstar of the Year. The NXT Champion said that Tyler Bate has speed, agility, and power, while JD McDonagh can pick a body part and take you apart. He picked Tyler Bate to get the win against McDonagh as he can’t wait to run that match back.
Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes vs Andre Chase and Bodhi Hayward
Andre Chase and Bodhi Hayward were in total control as the match got underway. Williams got the tag and Andre hit him with a side Russian legsweep. The Chase U stomps followed. Hayward makes the tag.
Bodhi picks Williams in the Argentine backbreaker rack but he went too close to Hayes and the A Champion managed to make the tag. Springboard lariat, Chase tags o. In the end, Chase U pick up the pinfall victory with a side press from Andre on Hayes.

Sanga vs Von Wagner
Sanga got off the block quicker and took Von Wagner off his feet. However, some heavy blows helped the heel to take control of the proceedings. That was until Sanga used a few hard right hands to get back in the match. Sanga delivered a big boot to drop Wagner from the apron.
Sanga wiped out Wagner outside the ring. Before he could inflict further damage, Robert Stone interfered. This allowed Wagner to take advantage as he pushed Sanga into the steel steps. Back inside the ring, Wagner hit the fireman’s carry neckbreaker to win the match.
Winner – Von Wagner
Grade – B
We get a promo from Cameron Grimes. He says that he will chop off the Schism tree next week.
Grayson Waller vs Oro Mensah – Qualifying match for the NXT North American Championship Ladder match
Grayson Waller began dominating the match from the get-go. The newcomer tried to take control of the match but the Australian star dropped him on his back to continue his domination.
Mensah failed to muster any kind of offense. Mensah tried to use his pace and athleticism to get back into the match but the veteran seemed to be a step ahead.
Waller went for the rolling Stunner but Apollo Crews appeared out of nowhere and stopped him in his tracks. Mensah used the distraction to his advantage and wiped out Waller. Back in the ring, Mensah hit a spinning wheel kick to pick up a huge win on his first night on NXT.

Tyler Bate vs JD McDonagh – No. 1 contender’s match for the NXT Championship
Bron Breakker makes his entrance with Connor’s Cure Thriver Landon “the Conqueror” Chase. The champion will be joining the commentary team for the match.
McDonagh and Bate went back and forth as the match got underway. Both men managed to counter each other’s pinfall attempts with pinfall attempts of their own. McDonagh and Bate took each other out by hitting clotheslines simultaneously, as we went into a commercial break.
Upon returning, McDonagh was in total control as he had a Boston Crab applied to his opponent. Bate wiped out McDonagh outside the ring. Back inside, Bate dropped McDonagh and followed it up with a standing shooting star press.
The former NXT UK champion lifted McDonagh on his shoulders and spun him around before dropping him. The Irish star came back into the match by hitting a 450 splash off the top rope. The heel followed it up with a brainbuster for a nearfall. Both men started exchanging punches in the middle of the ring as the crowd joined in with their cheers.
Bate went up on the top rope but McDonagh joined him upstairs. The heel delivered a Spanish Fly followed by the Devil Inside to pick up the win.
Winner – JD McDonagh
Grade – A+
Ilja Dragunov returns
After the match, Breakker came to the ring to meet McDonagh face-to-face. Ilja Dragunov makes his return and enters the ring. The three men stare each other down as Breakker holds the title above his shoulder. The show ends on a tantalizing note.
