NXT Great American Bash Results, Winners, Grades: Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez challenged Toxic Attraction for the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship. Bron Breakker defended his NXT Championship title against former NXT North American Champion Cameron Grimes.
Both teams had their moments. Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez were out of the blocks quicker. However, Mandy Rose began to prove a handful from outside the ring, getting involved more often than not.
Jade and Perez hit a double superkick to Jacy Jayne and went for the cover. However, the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion dragged the referee out of the ring to break the count. Eventually, it was Roxanne Perez who secured the victory for her team by delivering Pop Rocks on Jacy Jayne. The crowd erupted as the two best friends celebrated in the ring with the coveted titles.

Bron Breakker was seen entering the arena and he ensured that his shoulder was okay.
Tony D’Angelo spoke to Legado del Fantasma backstage. He said that Elektra Lopez is the only one who has been putting in the hard yards. D’Angelo said he had taken out Santos Escobar for disobeying his orders. He also showed pictures of Escobar on his phone and it seemed he was lying on a hospital bed. The Don of NXT decided that he will give Wilde and Del Toro one last chance to prove themselves next week.
Wes Lee was at his high-flying best. He rattled Williams with his unique offensive moves. Williams took a few breathers during the match. Towards the later stages of the match, Williams sprayed something from a bottle on his arms. He got back to the ring and rubbed his arms on the face of Wes Lee and it seemed that the babyface was unable to see clearly after that moment. Williams took advantage and ended up winning after hitting the Cyclone Kill.

Tiffany Stratton was getting her makeup done but Wendy Choo appeared just as it was about to finish and moments later, the heel was covered in powder.
Both women were vicious in the ring as the fun and games ended. Choo went after Stratton’s hair but the latter focused her attack on her opponent’s nails. Stratton ripped off Choo’s nails.
Eventually, it was Tiffany Stratton who got the win with a Corkscrew Vader Bomb. Another loss for the babyface.

Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade, the new NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions were interviewed backstage. Jade said she was thrilled to win her first title in WWE and that too with her best friend. Perez said she will cash in her NXT Breakout contract next week on Mandy Rose and end the Toxic Attraction for good.
Apollo Crews came out to the ring and said that his kids told him throughout last year that he was someone completely different during his time on WWE television. Crews said that his kids had eventually stopped watching WWE. But since he has returned to NXT, his kids have not missed a single episode. Crews named some competitors who are young and hungry and ready to take any opportunity.
He named some of the superstars like Tony D’Angelo, Cameron Grimes, Nathan Frazer, Carmelo Hayes, and Nathan Frazer, but he forgot to name Giovanni Vinci. The heel made his way to the ring to confront Crews. He said that he will outperform Crews in the ring and in style as well. Crews was ready to fight him on the show but Vinci said he was not dressed for a fight. However, he said that next week he will face Crews and show him who the better man is.
Grayson Waller went for the Stunner early on in the match but Hayes had it scouted. Waller went up on the top rope but Hayes caught him and assaulted him viciously. Waller came back with a strong set of moves.
Hayes locked in a crossface but Waller countered and locked in a triangle himself. Hayes hit a superkick but Waller kicked him back as both women were on the floor. Waller got distracted by Williams and took a little too long to hit the rolling Stunner. Wes Lee came out and began beating down Williams. Hayes took advantage and secured the victory to retain the title.

Xyon Quinn was interviewed backstage and said he is box office. He said that Apollo Crews winning a title is not in. He referred to himself as a future multi-time champion.
Mandy Rose said in an interview that Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez got lucky this week. She said that when Perez’s adrenaline wears out, she will know what a bad decision she has made to challenge her for the title. The NXT Women’s Champion said that Perez will join the failure club alongside Jade next week, but that is if she makes it to the match against her.
Brutus Creed and Davon Kemp were set to get the match started. However, Roderick Strong asked Kemp to tag him in. Kemp obliged. Brutus took out Strong with a shoulder tackle and tagged in Julius. Kemp got hit with a belly-to-belly suplex. Strong distracted Julius with some words and it allowed Kemp to take advantage.
Julius was isolated in his opponent’s corner but he used his power to get back to his corner of the ring and tag in Brutus. Julius hit a dropkick that sent Kemp outside the ring. However, Strong did not give him a chance to take a breather as he tossed him back to the ring. Julius was happy to send him back outside the ring. This time he tagged Brutus who delivered the Brutus ball to take out Kemp.
A few moments later, Strong and Kemp began dominating the match by isolating Brutus. Julius got the tag after a long time and hit a few belly-to-belly suplexes to Strong. He followed it up with a rolling spinebuster. Kemp came to the ring and got hit with a rolling spinebuster followed by a vicious clothesline as The Creed Brothers won the match.

Grade – A
Von Wagner and Solo Sikoa got involved in a war of words backstage. A brawl almost began but officials got things under control.
Cameron Grimes focused his attack on Breakker’s shoulder. However, Breakker was not fluttered. Bron hit a spinebuster but he could not take full advantage of it due to his injured shoulder. Breakker delivered an avalanche Frankensteiner but Grimes kept on fighting.
In the end, the champion found a way to retain his title as he speared his opponent while in mid-air for the win.

Grade – A
After the match, JD McDonagh blindsided Breakker and put him through a table containing 4th of July foods and more. He told Breakker that the “necessary evil is here”.
