NXT Results, Winners, Grades: Zoey Stark will face Cora Jade while Nikkita Lyons will battle it out against Kiana James. Wes Lee will take on Trick Williams in a rounds match.

Nikkita Lyons versus Kiana James

Kiana James got off the blocks quicker. She applied a headlock but Lyons dropped her with a couple of shoulder blocks.

In the end, Lyons landed a few boots on James and followed it up with a senton. A crescent kick and the trademark split leg drop gave Lyons the victory.

Winner – Nikkita Lyons

Grade – B

After the match, James attacked Lyons with her bag.

Diamond Mine were backstage with Apollo Crews. They were watching a film. Roderick Strong entered the fray but the Creed Brothers accused him of lying to them last week. Strong said that he will beat Crews so that they could watch that tape later on.

Trick Williams versus Wes Lee – Rounds match

Both men got in the ring with boxing gloves in hand. Lee initially avoided a few jabs. That was short-lived though as Williams soon landed a few lefts and rights to rattle Lee. A knee from Williams rocked Lee. Towards the end of round one, Lee fought back and landed a few heavy blows in the corner.

Round two began with boxing gloves being removed. Lee gets the plancha on Williams on the outside. Carmelo Hayes interfered and got hold of Lee. This allowed Williams to hit a pump kick. Williams covered Lee for a pinfall and took a 1-0 lead in less than a minute into round two.

Williams dominated Lee in round three but the score remained at 1-0 in favor of the heel.

In round four, Hayes loads up one of the boxing gloves and hands it to Williams. Lee evaded the loaded glove. He caught Williams with a crucifix. He gets the pin and levels the scoreline at 1-1.

Prior to round five, Williams hit a cheapshot to Lee with the loaded glove. As round five began, Williams hit a couple of suplexes to get a near fall. Lee eventually hit a bulldog and followed it up with a knockout blow to get a 2-1 victory.

Winner – Wes Lee

Grade – A

After returning from a commercial break, Carmelo Hayes entered the ring and said that Lee cheated and disrupted his plan to celebrate for an entire hour. Now he will talk about last week. He issued an open challenge and Frazer tried to get a quick one over the champ. However, he was unsuccessful.

Giovanni Vinci rolled up and said Hayes was lucky last week as he didn’t face him. Vinci challenged Hayes to a title match next week. Hayes accepted the challenge. A brawl broke out and referees came out to separate them.

Arianna Grace versus Thea Hail

Grace dominated the initial proceedings. She applied a kneeling armbar. Thea broke free and comes back to hit a Codebreaker off the ropes. A standing moonsault earner her a two-count.

In the end, Grace hit the wasteland on her nemesis to pick up the victory.

Winner – Arianna Grace

Grade – C

Solo Sikoa is out of action for about four to six weeks with a sprained PCL. Grimes meets Sikoa in the training room. Sikoa gave a pep talk to Grimes and the latter was all ears.

Roderick Strong versus Apollo Crews

Roderick Strong came out all by himself. The match began at a slow pace with both men getting the upper hand in several instances.

Crews leaped off the top rope but Strong caught him with a dropkick. Outside the ring, both men delivered clotheslines to take each other out as we went into a commercial break.

A blockbuster off the ropes from Crews. Strong also had his moments as he delivered a few lethal moves. In the end, Crews got the win after delivering a one-handed spinebuster.

Winner – Apollo Crews

Grade – A

Santos Escobar and Tony D’Angelo have a meeting

Escobar offered a handshake but D’Angelo didn’t oblige. The Don of NXT said that Escobar works for him. Escobar said that D’Angelo has not won anything since he has been working for him.

Escobar challenged D’Angelo to a match next week. If Escobar loses, he will be gone from NXT. However, if Escobar wins, Legado will not work for D’Angelo anymore.

Malik Blade and Edris Enofe versus Pretty Deadly

The heels dominated the match from the get-go. However, they were distracted by Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen. Wilson got hit with a bulldog courtesy of Enofe. He followed it up with an elbow drop off the top rope.

Blade connected with a flying cannonball over the top rope to wipe out Wilson. Pretty Deadly eventually secured the win after hitting the split milk on Enofe.

Winners – Pretty Deadly

Grade – B+

Lash Legend attacked Fallon Henly from behind after the match got over.

Zoey Stark versus Cora Jade

Both women went back and forth until Jade dropped Stark on her back as we went into a commercial break. Stark hit a few suplexes. Jade came back with knee strikes. The crowd was firmly behind Stark. Jade did deliver some devastating moves but failed to keep Stark down. Towards the closing stages of the match, Roxanne Perez appeared at ringside. This distracted Jade and allowed Stark to pick up the victory.

Winner – Zoey Stark

Grade – A

After the match, Perez was in pursuit of Jade as they ran away from the stage area. Mandy Rose tried to hit Stark with a cheapshot with her title. However, Stark was alert and took out the champion, and celebrated by lifting the title above her shoulders.

Overall show grade – B+
