WWE NXT results, winners and grades: Mandy Rose picks up injury on NXT

This was a new era for WWE NXT as Triple H had shared a new logo for the brand. However, there still were some rumblings from the latest TakeOver.

NXT Champion Samoa Joe and NXT UK Champion Ilja Dragunov were both expected to share their thoughts on NXT but we start off with a women’s singles match in this WWE NXT results, winners and grades piece.

Mandy Rose is injured

Mandy Rose took on Sarray and dominated her rival early on. However, Sarray fought back and hit Rose with a dropkick.

Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne then covered Rose’s face with a towel to end the match via count out.

The pair then attacked Sarray later in the evening.

Kyle O’Reilly vs Duke Hudson

KOR came into this match against the much larger Duke Hudson with a lot of confidence. The pair fought well and it was O’Reilly who got the win via a kneebar submission.

Imperium vs Drake Maverick and Grayson Waller

Ilja Dragunov and Kay Lee Ray both spoke about what their futures held in the company before the next match took place.

Carmelo Hayes also spoke about winning the NXT North American title before the clash.

As for the clash, Imperium were too good for the new pairing of Maverick and Waller.

Johnny Gargano vs LA Knight

After an altercation in William Regal’s office this match was set up. LA Knight took advantage of the cold relationship between Gargano and Dexter Lumis.

And this played into the hands of Knight, who picked up the win after Gargano tried to deal with Lumis.

Grade A

Raquel Gonzalez dominates

Jessi Kamea was the rival for NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez but the champion was too much for her rival.

Gonzalez then stared at Franky Monet after getting the win.

Samoa Joe speaks

The new NXT Champion, Samoa Joe, wanted younger NXT stars to face him and wanted to compete against the best too.

The next match was Ikemen Jiro vs Roderick Strong and it was Strong who got the win in the end.

Tommaso Ciampa vs Ridge Holland

The final match of the evening saw Ciampa take on Holland. Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch distracted Ciampa to hand Ridge the advantage in all this.

After a great battle, it was Ciampa who got the win in the end with MSK and Lorcan and Burch also clashing.
