WWE NXT results, winners, grades and reaction 26 February: Charlotte Flair made a return to NXT

WWE NXT results, winners, grades and reaction: NXT was all business on this episode as several storylines got a huge bump and we were greeted with some incredible action.

Dominik Dijakovic opened up to face Cameron Grimes, and it was a match of two different styles.

Imperium attacks Finn Balor (WWE)

Dijakovic looked good in the early going but Damian Priest interrupted which allowed Grimes to win.

Grade B

Starting NXT with a match was great and this result should see Dijakovic fight against Priest before moving on to Keith Lee.

A message from the UK

Finn Balor was out talking about his next challenge but was interrupted by Imperium.

The UK faction sent Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel, who took the Prince out.

Grade C

While this was nothing special from Balor, it could set up a tasty clash against Walter from Imperium.

The UK faction has been great on the other NXT, and it will be interesting to see which direction this goes.

Yim attacked by pair

It was Mia Yim taking on Xia Li but the match was interrupted by Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez.

The newly formed paired distracted Yim to allow Li to pick up the win, and then attacked the Head Baddie in Charge.

Grade D

nothing great here, to be honest, the attack on Yim also didn’t work all that great either.

Ciampa gets attacked

Austin Theory was in action, this time as he tried to get revenge from last week’s attack.

The Blackheart was dominated by Theory for most of the match but used his experience to beat Theory.

Johnny Gargano then came and attacked Ciampa after the clash.

It was great seeing Theory perform well in the ring, and the match was great too. The Ciampa-Gargano rivalry might never end, but the two know how to put on a show.

Dain vs Reed

It was battle of the big ones with Bronson Reed taking the fight to Killian Dain.

However, it was Dain that got the win in the end, courtesy of a Vader Bomb.

Dain beats Reed

Grade C

Nothing really great about this match, sure we got to see Dain pick up another win, but he just doesn’t seem to be hitting the right marks.

Forgotten Sons vs Grizzled Young Veterans

This was a match that saw the US team of the Sons taking on the UK team of the Veterans.

The Veterans have been great on NXT UK and have impressed in their outings on the main roster too.

The visiting pair ended up winning this clash, despite being challenged by the Americans.

Grizzled Young Veterans beat Forgotten Sons

Grade C

NXT usually produces great tag matches, but this was another one that missed the mark. This just didn’t live up to expectations, despite the Veterans picking up another impressive win.

Flair vs Belair

This had all the makings of a classic with Flair, the veteran and still superstar, taking on the rising one, Bianca Belair.

However, it was Flair that picked up the win with a Spear and a Natural Selection. Charlotte tried to injure the EST of NXT by putting her in a Figure Four but it was Rhea Ripley who came out to make the save.

Flair beats Belair

Grade B

This match could have been a lot more but the two wrestlers just didn’t gel. Nevertheless, it is great seeing the Queen turn a little heel and calling Ripley out.
