WWE NXT 2.0 is turning out to be more impressive with each coming week. With the arrival of superstars from different parts of the world. A recent name that has popped up the scenes is Xyon Quinn.
A former NRL player Daniel Vidot, aka Xyon Quinn, had taken WWE by storm with his new creative maneuver at WWE 205 live events.
Who is this new WWE Superstar Xyon Quinn?
Daniel Sean Vidot aka, Xyon Quinn, is a former professional rugby league footballer and Australian professional wrestler who is currently signed to WWE and performs for the NXT brand.
Quinn played for rugby league as a winger in NRL for Canberra Raiders, St. George Illawarra, Brisbane Broncos, and Gold Coast Titans. He last played for the Gold Coast Titans before leaving and shocking the sporting world with his developmental deal with WWE NXT promotion.
Later he took four months of training before performing his first match for the promotion.
Vidot was born in Brisbane, Queensland, and is of Samoan and Irish descent. He played for a total of 8 years of rugby before turning his interests into professional wrestling. Vidot signed a developmental contract with WWE in May 2018.
On 24 April 2020, Vidot made his on-screen debut against Sheamus on SmackDown, where he unfortunately lost. His ring name was a trademark by WWE as Xyon Quinn. Since then, he has been a part of many dark matches, WWE 205 Live, and NXT shows.
After working this much for a while, he has finally started to show his potential. Yesterday, on WWE 205 live event against Ru Feng, Vidot appeared to botch a leapfrog which is a pretty standard move and turned this mistake into an entirely different manoeuver altogether.
Quinn accidentally caught the neck of Feng and showed his athleticism by successfully and safely pulling off a sling blade. This has wholly stunned the WWE fans with this creativity.
He even took to Twitter to mention this movie.
What do we call it?
Daniel is currently based in Orlando, Florida, with his long-term girlfriend, Danielle Glanville.
