WWE NXT TakeOver: In Your House 2020 Results and Grades: NXT TakeOver: In Your House was packed with some incredible matches and several belts were also on the line.
Keith Lee, Charlotte Flair and Adam Cole all were defending their respective titles on this PPV while other feuds also continued with some great performances.
There were some shocking results too, and here are the grades from WWE NXT TakeOver: In Your House.
Tegan Nox, Shotzi Blackheart and Mia Yim teamed up to face the heel trio of Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez.
There was some miscommunication between Kai and Gonzalez and it was Nox who picked up the win for her team.
Nox, Blackheart and Yim win
Grade B
This was a great way to start off the match even though the rivalry between LeRae and Yim still hasn’t reached boiling point.
The other four women had their own rivalry from the past and it showed in this match.
Damien Priest had become a problem for Finn Balor after attacking the Prince in the past. However, it was Balor that picked up the win hitting a couple of finishers on Priest.
Balor beats Priest
Grade A
Priest looked great in this clash and seemed set to win but Balor used the ring well to get the W. It will be interesting to see what plans WWE have for both stars after this clash.
The NXT North American title was on the line as Lee defended it against Johnny Gargano. Gargano attacked Lee’s injured eye and hand but couldn’t get the pin over the champion.
Even LeRae coming out to distract the champion didn’t work as Yim came out to help her boyfriend.
Lee beats Gargano
Grade A
The rivalry might have been set up really quick, but this was a great match. Gargano used his smarts to take on the bigger man but Lee kept his title as his girlfriend Yim, came out to help.
The NXT title was on the line with Adam Cole taking on challenger Velveteen Dream. The match was a backyard brawl of sorts but the referee said the finish has to be inside the ring set up backstage.
The match was set up like those cinematic ones from recent weeks and even Dexter Lumis got involved as he kidnapped two of the Undisputed Era members.
However, Cole used a low blow to hit his finisher and kept his title.
Cole beats Dream
Grade B
The cinematic version of Cole vs Dream didn’t click enough as the previous ones. Cole keeping the title means he is staying on NXT but is Dream set for a move to another brand after failing to land the title, again?
Tommaso Ciampa was destroyed by Karrion Kross right from the bell. The Blackheart had no answer to Kross’ abilities and was choked out as Kroos won his first TakeOver match.
Kross beats Ciampa
Grade B
WWE made Kross look like a monster and beating Ciampa this easily should count for something in the future.
Charlotte Flair defended her NXT title against former champion Rhea Ripley and Japanese star Io Shirai.
Flair got hold of a figure-eight near the end on Ripley. However, Shirai hit a huge Moonsault to get the win as a lot of celebrations kicked off in the ring.
Shirai beats Flair and Ripley
Grade A
This was an excellent match between three of the best in WWE. Shirai winning is huge for her career, and it will be interesting to see what is next for her.
Drew McIntyre can’t believe he hasn’t been able to face this WWE superstar
