5. Inaugural NXT Women’s Champion

Paige made her debut in WWE’s developmental brand Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) in 2012. After FCW was rebranded to NXT, Paige became one of the most popular stars on the brand. She began a winning streak beating the likes of Sasha Banks, Emma, Aksana, and Alicia Fox. Her streak lasted five months.

Paige participated in a tournament in June 2013 to determine the inaugural NXT Women’s Champion. The British athlete defeated the likes of Tamina Snuka and Alicia Fox to reach the final. Emma and Paige clashed in the final as the latter won to become the first-ever NXT Women’s Champion. Her reign lasted as many as 301 days but she was not defeated for the title and had to vacate it and the reason we will discuss later on in this article.

4. Win for the Total Divas

WWE arranged a feud between WWE Superstars Emma, Naomi, Lana, Tamina, and Summer Rae versus popular show Total Divas cast members Alicia Fox, Eva Marie, Brie Bella, Natalya, and Paige at WrestleMania 32. The storyline was that the WWE Superstars were jealous of their opponents because they felt they were also good enough to be successful on Total Divas.

Well, the members of the Total Divas team reigned supreme at WrestleMania 32 and Paige delivered a fantastic performance in the match.

3. Team PCB

Midway through 2015, the WWE Universe began to back female wrestlers who were technically gifted in the ring more than the fitness models. This phase was referred to as the Women’s Revolution. Paige was one of the cornerstones of the Women’s Revolution as she brought Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch with her on an episode of RAW. Flair and Lynch were known for their in-ring prowess and the trio decimated The Bella Twins and Alicia Fox on the night.

Sasha Banks joined forces with Tamina and Naomi to form Team B.A.D. The three factions: Team Bella (The Bella Twins and Alicia Fox), Team B.A.D., and Team PCB brawled in a three-team elimination match at SummerSlam where Paige’s team came out victorious.

2. Team Absolution

Paige went through neck surgery. She had a tumultuous relationship with former WWE Superstar Alberto Del Rio. However, she came back to the in-ring competition and brought along with her two formidable athletes in Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville.

The formidable team dominated the Women’s division on RAW. Paige got injured during a house show when she took a kick to the back of her neck. She accompanied Rose and Deville to the ring for their matches. Paige officially retired from in-ring competition on the RAW after WrestleMania 34 due to a serious neck injury.

1. Paige becomes WWE Divas Champion on her first night

Paige surprised the WWE Universe when she made her main roster debut on the 7 April 2014 episode of RAW. She came to the ring to congratulate then-Divas Champion AJ Lee for her successful title defense at WrestleMania 30. However, Paige got a slap from Lee for her generosity.

This segment resulted in an impromptu match between the two talented wrestlers. The match was spectacular and Paige shocked the world when she defeated the veteran Lee to become a world champion on her debut.

Paige was only 21 back then and she became the youngest Divas Champion in the history of WWE and the first Diva to win the title in her debut match. She also became the first woman to hold both the Divas and NXT Women’s Championships at the same time. Eventually, Paige had to relinquish the NXT Women’s Championship as she continued to hold the Divas title proudly.
