WWE Raw preview: The final Raw episode of 2019 will feature one happy moment for a couple.
The promotion confirmed that Lana and Lashley would marry on 30 December. The Ravishing Russian effectively forced her latest lover to propose last week, and she gleefully accepted.
Lashley also took a dig at Lana’s former husband, Rusev, by saying that he would save a seat for the ceremony.
Rusev seemed pretty happy in the previous episode of Raw, and it will be interesting to see if he disturbs this happy moment for the pair.
Aleister Black and Buddy Murphy had an excellent bout at TLC. The pair started their rivalry on Raw a few weeks before the pay-per-view and their clash was possibly the best fight of the show.
The pair also dispatched local competition in the previous week and will be in action again. Expect more fireworks on the final Raw episode of 2019.
Seth Rollins faced Rey Mysterio for the US title but the match barely got going thanks to the Architect’s DQ.
It was bad enough that AOP and Seth were beating Mysterio but things took an interesting turn when Samoa Joe came into the mix.
The Samoan Submission Machine was driven through a table by AOP and there could be repercussions for Rollins in this week’s Raw.
The Royal Rumble is just a few weeks away and Becky Lynch challenged Asuka on the last episode of Raw.
The champion was willing to meet Asuka at any time or place, but the Empress of Tomorrow played coy.
A Royal Rumble clash between the pair could be another epic match, and it will be interesting to see what happens next with them.
The Viper Randy Orton has targetted AJ Styles in recent weeks and the pair were in tag team action last time around.
The OC picked up the win after Orton hit a few RKOs but it was Styles who hit the Viper with the Phenomenal Forearm for his side.
This rivalry seems far from over, and we could see the pair in action again on Monday.
