WWE Raw preview 6 April 2020: What surprises could be in store after WrestleMania 36?

Published by

WWE Raw preview: The first Raw after any WrestleMania is always special as the fans celebrate wildly post the show of shows.

However, this Raw will not feature any fans as the coronavirus pandemic issue continues. WrestleMania 36 was a two-day event, for the first time, and there were some incredible matches.

While Raw hasn’t confirmed what exactly will take place after WrestleMania 36, here are some of our best guesses on the storylines being touched on.

The new king of the house

Drew McIntyre finally exorcised some demons by defeating Brock Lesnar and becoming the WWE champion.

Brock Lesnar was frustrated he couldn’t put McIntyre away, and the Irishman won the gold on the second day of WrestleMania.

McIntyre should come out to address the fans watching from all across the world, and he could also face Lesnar again as the former champ should have a rematch clause.

Lynch retains her title

Becky Lynch faced a fierce battle against Shayna Baszler, but the Man kept her Raw Women’s championship.

She has defeated all comers and has to be one of the greatest female wrestlers of this generation. There should be a new challenger for Lynch, but who will be stepping up to the plate?

The Messiah

Seth Rollins lost both matches at WrestleMania to Kevin Owens, first the normal one-on-one match and then the No DQ one too.

Monday Night Messiah Rollins would be upset at this and he should be another one to address the universe.

Other storylines

The Street Profits kept hold of their crown but also saw the debut of Bianca Belair. She helped stave off a fight against Angel Garza and Austin Theory, while also sending a message to Zelina Vega.

The Undertaker came out in his Deadman persona (WWE)

The Undertaker also got the better of AJ Styles in the Boneyard match, but it is unlikely either of them will make an appearance on the upcoming Raw.

Edge also got rid of Randy Orton in the Last Man Standing match and we could see the Rated-R Superstar back.

WWE hit the ball out of the park with WrestleMania 36, and it will be interesting to see what they have planned for Raw.
