WWE Raw Preview: Last week’s Raw saw a lot of action with both the singles champions teaming up against their Extreme Rules rivals.
Drew McIntyre and Asuka could not get the win as Dolph Ziggler and Sasha Banks celebrated wildly.
Banks has been a thorn in Asuka’s side and will try to claim the title at the PPV. However, the Raw Women’s Champion first has to face off against another tough opponent as we start off this week’s WWE Raw preview with a huge clash.
Champion vs Champion
Asuka faces off against Banks’ best friend and SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley. The Japanese star will face the wrath of Bayley as she interfered in a match at the Great American Bash.
Banks vs Io Shirai was the main event for the first day of the Bash. However, Asuka sprayed Banks with the green mist as Shirai picked up a huge win.
Bayley could help her friend become a double champion by taking out Asuka, and the Boss will also have a role to play in this meeting.
Ziggler to speak up?
McIntyre seems confident of keeping his title against Ziggler. The Scot has even allowed Ziggler to pick the stipulation for their title match at Extreme Rules.
The Show Off is one of the most cunning characters in WWE and it will be interesting to see what his plans are.
So far, Ziggler hasn’t said anything about what the stipulation for their match will be. However, he could let it all out of the bag on this week’s show.
More trouble in paradise?
Last week we saw another implosion as Angel Garza and Andrade argued several times. It led to Garza walking off and Andrade facing the wrath of the Big Show.
Both stars have hinted that being singles competitors would be better for them, and it will be interesting to see what Zelina Vega does to keep them together.
Garza and Andrade are two hotheads, and there could be fireworks on Raw.
Lashley continues to roll
MVP defeated Apollo Crews last week in a non-title match but it was Bobby Lashley that made the biggest impact.
The All Mighty was excellent in his clash against Ricochet and he looked as dominant as ever. Lashley seems set to be a future champion and he could be the one who faces Crews for the US title soon.
