WWE Raw ratings 14 Dec 2020: This week’s WWE Raw was the final Monday Night show before the upcoming TLC PPV.
This was the perfect chance for WWE to lay down a marker for their flagship show, but things haven’t been going well for Raw in recent months.
Ratings have been steadily decreasing and no matter what WWE does, it doesn’t boost up the ratings.
WWE used The Fiend, Randy Orton, Drew McIntyre and AJ Styles this week. They even set Bray Wyatt on fire thanks to Orton and had several matches on the show too.
They even tried Riddle as coming relief but the numbers just wouldn’t click. The matches were lacklustre too and here are the results from the show.
AJ Styles beats Sheamus
The Hurt Business beats The New Day and Jeff Hardy
Lana beats Nia Jax
John Morrison and Miz beat Keith Lee
Mace beats Ricochet
Dana Brooke beats Shayna Baszler
Riddle beats MVP
The ratings did not make for great reading for Raw this week. Raw recorded its all-time low with an average of 1.53m viewers for the three hours.
The first hour brought in 1.63m viewers, the second brought in 1.51m and the third was 1.44m. The show also took a battering when compared to the previous week with a drop in viewership figures of 26%.
Raw also had the lowest ratings per hour in its history and even their demos of 18-34 and 18-49 just didn’t bring in the viewers.
Things were so bad for Raw this week that an hour of AEW Dynamite from last week got better ratings that WWE’s flagship show.
This would be a concern for Vince McMahon and reports from Wrestle Votes claimed that WWE would be making some “reactionary” decisions.
The source to Wrestle Votes also claimed that the higher ups in WWE were not happy with how things were taking place.
This isn’t the first time such problems have occurred with WWE Raw. AEW has been easily defeating NXT while Raw is struggling a lot.
