WWE Raw Results and Grades: There were some explosive moments at Money in the Bank 2020 and some of those issues were to be resolved on Raw.
There was a big announcement from Becky Lynch regarding her future as well as Drew McIntyre finding a new rival to deal with.
However, the pressing concern was about the two stars who were tossed off the top by Baron Corbin on Sunday.
Rey Mysterio and Aleister Black were the victims of the King, and Raw provided an update on the same.
There was a lot of action on this week’s WWE Raw and here are the results and grades.
Lynch reveals she is pregnant
Lynch started off the show carrying the Money in the Bank briefcase. However, she had a couple of major announcements to make.
One was that she was going to take some time off as she revealed she was pregnant. The champion said her fans deserve to know what was going on. However, out came Asuka as she was unhappy as to why Lynch had the briefcase.
"You go and be a warrior, 'cause I'm gonna go be a mother."
Congratulations, @BeckyLynchWWE!!!!

The champ went on to say that she would vacate the title and since Asuka won the Money in the Bank match, she is the new Raw Women’s Champion.
Asuka celebrated wildly while Lynch walked off with a smile and some tears on her face.
Grade A
A perfect start to the show with Lynch showing that she is willing to take time off to start a family just when she was at the top of her game.
We wish Lynch the best for the future and it was the right decision to hand Asuka the title after her MITB win.
Lashley vs Carrillo
We are seeing a more aggressive Bobby Lashley than ever before. While his aggression cost him a place at MITB in the Gauntlet match, he didn’t have to worry about a disqualification in this one.

The No DQ match against Humberto Carrillo went as expected with Lashley dominating the high-flyer.
Lashley picked up the win with relative ease as his rise continues again.
Lashley beats Carrillo
Grade B
WWE seems to have woken up regarding Lashley and are now showing him to be the dominant star he can actually become.
The match at MITB against Truth was a squash and this was a great win for his CV. Hopefully, this continues and Lashley isn’t drawn into other weird storylines.
Trouble in paradise
There seems to be some trouble in Zelina Vega’s stable. Austin Theory and Angel Garza were arguing before Garza got into a match with Akira Tozawa.
It was Garza who picked up the win but the problems continued after that as Andrade and Theory also argued with the star.

Vega tried to break them off but Drew McIntyre came out and destroyed Theory and Garza, while setting up another match.
Garza beats Tozawa
Grade C
After building up Vega’s stable for a few weeks WWE seems to have ditched them. Same for Tozawa, who is great in the Cruiserweight championship but cannot do anything on Raw.
McIntyre coming in also didn’t make a lot of sense since he just beat Seth Rollins on Sunday, but he does have history against Andrade.
Andrade vs McIntyre
McIntyre’s appearance let to Champion vs Champion clash. Andrade worked on some of the injuries McIntyre picked up against Rollins, and he tried to force a submission out of the Scot.
However, it was McIntyre who came out on top by hitting a claymore, and he set up a clash against SmackDown’s Baron Corbin in a Brand vs Brand challenge.
McIntyre beats Andrade
Grade B
Andrade deserves more than being fodder for McIntyre as the US Champ is great in the ring. A battle between McIntyre and Corbin doesn’t make a lot of sense, but it is going to be interesting for sure.
A shock return
Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross have enjoyed their time as the Women’s Tag Team champions, but they have more concerns now.

The IIconics returned to Monday Night Raw and interrupted A Moment of Bliss. Peyton Royce and Billie Kay and wanted their tag titles back.
A non-title match was set up and it were the returning pair that picked up the win.
Kay and Royce beat Bliss and Cross
Grade B
The IIconics returning is a boost to the women’s tag division and the pair looked great. With Asuka now the singles champion, WWE needs another proper team to rival Bliss and Cross, and they seem to have found one.
Six-man tag
MVP teamed up with his stars Brendan Vink and Shone Thorne to take on Truth, Ricochet and Cedric Alexander.
Truth’s alter-ego, Pretty Ricky, made several appearances during the match and it was this trio that picked up the win over MVP’s team.

However, Lashley came out to spear Truth and said he wanted to talk with MVP.
Truth, Ricochet and Alexander beat MVP, Vink and Thorne
Grade C
The 50-50 booking of WWE makes no sense sometimes. They were pushing Ricochet and Alexander once, then they decided to push Vink and Thorne and now we have Lashley introduced into all this.
It seems that the All Mighty will join MVP’s stable but there are serious questions about the booking for this match.
Black and Mysterio return
Rollins and Murphy teamed up to face the returning Black and Mysterio who survived the fall on Sunday.

However, Rollins barely did anything in the match as he just stood by the apron while Murphy was being pummelled.
Rollins got into action after he was hit by Mysterio and he snapped. He attacked Rey and grinded the high-flyers face into the steel steps and injured his eyes which called for a DQ and the medics to attend to Rey.
"STAY BACK! STAY THE HELL BACK!"
Yep, @WWERollins has woken up. #WWERaw pic.twitter.com/hdpXOnqytK

Rollins was content at what he had done, but this is a dark time for the former champion.
Mysterio and Black beat Rollins and Murphy
Grade A
This is a different Rollins from the past. Not only did he fail to win the title despite giving it his all at MITB, he is now set to be a father and he doesn’t know what he might do next.

He also told Black later on that he didn’t know what went on in the match, and might be telling the truth.
Baszler vs Natalya
Baszler made some questionable comments about Lynch’s pregnancy but she made short work of Natalya in the ring.
She targeted Natalya’s arm to pick up the win while Natty was frustrated at the loss.
Baszler beats Natalya
Grade B
Baszler showed off her frustration at not winning the MITB match, which would have made her the champion after the night’s events.
.@QoSBaszler doesn't scare @NatbyNature. #WWERaw pic.twitter.com/lDX79NKwNl
— WWE (@WWE) May 12, 2020
Natalya also seemed really upset with the loss and it will be interesting to see what happens next with her.
Edge vs Orton II
The Rated-R Superstar made his return after beating Randy Orton at WrestleMania. Edge claimed that the Orton rivalry was behind him and he was now focussing on other things.
However, The Viper came out and claimed that the better man won at WM but not the better wrestler.
He challenged Edge to a normal match at Backlash and goaded him to accept it. Edge wasn’t sure about all this and that was how the evening ended.
Grade B
A rematch between Edge and Orton would have been great but a normal match doesn’t really make a lot of sense.
Edge might have limited matches in his contract but surely something bigger could have been done. Nevertheless, Orton vs Edge II should be fun and hopefully, Edge accepts it soon.
Raw TV ratings
WWE Raw got a much-needed TV boost with 1.92million viewers averaging over the three-hour broadcast.
The first hour saw 1.99m viewers while the second hour saw 1.96m viewers. The third hour was the worst of the lot with the viewership dropping to 1.80m.
