WWE Raw Results and Grades: Charlotte Flair was back in action after an incredible match at TakeOver: In Your House.
She was to face the Raw Women’s champion Asuka in the main event, but there were some other big stories too.
Edge and Christian held a Peep Show ahead of Edge’s clash against Randy Orton at Backlash.
However, we start with a lot of women in tag team action as we share the results and grades of this WWE Raw.
Six-woman tag team match
Asuka was interrupted by tag champions Bayley and Sasha Banks. Charlotte arrived to speak with the Raw champion before the IIconics came out to challenge the tag champs.

Asuka and Charlotte teamed up to face the other two tag teams in a triple threat tag match. It was Asuka and Charlotte who got the win before Charlotte laid out the champion in the end.
Asuka and Charlotte win
Grade C
Charlotte and Asuka tried to get one over each other during the tag, and it made little sense for them to win over two established tag teams.
Mysterio speaks before a tag clash
Rey Mysterio took part in a remote interview with Seth Rollins in the commentary side. Mysterio claimed he would destroy Rollins once he was medically cleared by the Messiah wanted Rey and his son, Dominick to Raw next week.
Aleister Black then attacked Rollins, who was saved by Austin Theory and Buddy Murphy. Humberto Carrillo came out to partner Black in a tag team match.
Well, @WWEAleister and @humberto_wwe are victorious, but it sure doesn't look that way.#WWERaw @WWERollins @WWE_Murphy @austintheory1 pic.twitter.com/faI7VE6vSh

Black and Carrillo beat Murphy and Theory before being attacked by Rollins.
Carrillo and Black beat Murphy and Theory
Grade B
The segment between Mysterio and Rollins was good but the tag match felt that it ended quickly.
Black is one star who has been helped by this feud, and in all probability, we will see a six-man tag clash in the future.
Peep Show
Orton said that he would appear on the Peep Show. Christian egged Edge on to be at his best in the clash against Orton.

Orton then appeared and said the match at Backlash would be Edge’s last.
Grade B
Christian and Edge were great on the microphone and so was Orton.
No.1 contender’s clash for US title
A segment between the Viking Raiders and Street Profits took place of a decathlon.
The next match saw Angel Garza, Andrade and Kevin Owens battle to become the No.1 contender for the US title.
You wouldn't believe how loud these were if we told you.#WWERaw @AngelGarzaWwe @AndradeCienWWE pic.twitter.com/jWmw6NQ5Nc

It was Andrade that got the win over his teammate Garza and Owens. However, Zelina Vega was also hurt in the clash.
Andrade wins
Grade B
The match was a great one but it was weird seeing Garza and Andrade fight each other and turn on one another.
Vega would be unhappy too, and it will be interesting to see how things take place between Andrade and Apollo Crews.
Lashley and McIntyre
Drew McIntyre interrupted a VIP Lounge and attacked MVP before the Street Profits, Bobby Lashley and The Viking Raiders came out.
A tag match between Lashley and MVP vs the Viking Raiders then took place with Lashley locking in the full nelson for the win.
Notice it took me holding off THREE other people, fresh off a match, for @DMcIntyreWWE to get me down. #WWERaw #WWEBacklash @WWE https://t.co/bZbASZ3yZf
— Bobby Lashley (@fightbobby) June 9, 2020
However, he wouldn’t let go as McIntyre entered and claymored him.
Lashley and MVP beat the Viking Raiders
Grade C
The entire segment from the MVP lounge to the match didn’t make a lot of sense. MVP and Lashley beating tag teams isn’t right while the MVP lounge seeing two other tag teams come out made for a weird segment.
Charlotte vs Asuka
Asuka and Charlotte put on a great show with Bayley and Banks on commentary. The tag champs were attacked by the IIconics and both teams were barred from ring side.
Nia Jax came out to cause a distraction which led Charlotte to beat Asuka. Jax then attacked Asuka after the match.
A #SamoanDrop for good measure.

Charlotte beats Asuka
Grade A
Charlotte vs Asuka was always going to be great, and this was just proof of how amazing the two women are.
Jax coming in and distracting Asuka was bound to happen, and it cost the Raw champion a win.
Raw TV ratings
The final Raw before Backlash saw an average TV viewership of 1.737million for the three-hour show, according to Showbuzz daily.
The first hour saw 1.827m viewers, the second saw 1.790m while the final hour saw 1.595m viewers.
