Here is everything that happened on the WWE Raw episode of January 31, including Raw Results, Winners and more
This was the post-Royal Rumble episode of Monday Night Raw, which saw Bobby Lashley arrive to celebrate his second reigns as WWE Champion. We also saw the return of Ronda Rousey confronting Becky Lynch, and WWE Hall of Famer Lita also returned to the show. Here is everything about WWE Raw Results.
WWE official Adam Pearce opened the show and announced that Lashley will be defending his WWE title inside Elimination Chamber.
The All-Mighty and his manager, M.V.P., made their way to the ring and didn’t agree to defend the title against five opponents at once.
The Beast made his entrance to the ring, mocked Lashley for the win that Roman Reigns helped, and declared that he would face Reigns at WrestleMania, but he wanted this to be a vs title match which made him challenge Lashley for the WWE title. Pearce entered Lesnar into the Elimination Chamber.
The former alliance of Nikki and Rhea Ripley made their way to the ring to settle their differences this week on Raw.
Nikki tried to knock out Rhea early after the bell, but the latter countered it quickly down with a shoulder block. Then, however, Nikki hit a low dropkick.
After the break, Nikki was still in control. She climbed to the middle rope for a tornado D.D.T., but Ripley pushed her away and made her come back.
She knocked her out with a stiff dropkick and scored a near two count. However, Nikki somehow hit the tornado D.D.T. which Ripley countered with a suplex and hit the Riptide for the victory.
Result: Rhea Ripley defeated Nikki A.S.H with a pinfall.
In a very random matchup, The Miz took on Dominik Mysterio. Rey was there with his son, but Maryse was not present.
Dom hit The A-Lister with a right hand. The latter avoided the 619 and started an argument with Rey before hanging his son in the middle rope.
The Miz caused a distraction which allowed him to hit Dom with the Skull-Crushing Finale for the win.
Results: The Miz defeated Dominik Mysterio
Kevin Owens took on Austin Theory for one of the four remaining spots inside the Elimination Chamber for the WWE title.
Owens straightaway went after Theory with some chops to the chest. He took Theory down with a shoulder tackle followed up with Senton.
Theory came back strongly as he avoided the cannonball, but K.O. followed him out of the ring, threw him to the barricade, and hit the cannonball again. Finally, however, Theory slammed Owens onto the stairs.
Owens hit him with a superkick and Senton bomb successively for a close two count, but Theory got his foot on the bottom rope to break the pin. Interestingly Theory avoided a powerbomb and hit his finisher for the win.
Results: Austin Theory defeated Kevin Owens
Dolph Ziggler started the match with a bang and almost won the game within seconds, but Dawkins kicked out of the pin. After that, however, The showoff remained in control.
Dawkins hit the right hand out of nowhere. His tag team partner Montez Ford got the crowd on fire. Dawkins hit Ziggler with a running shoulder and a bulldog near fall.
Ziggler made a comeback with a strong D.D.T. and was about to give the superkick when Dawkins blocked it and hit the double underhook slam for the pin.
Results: Angelo Dawkins defeated Dolph Ziggler
Pearce made this Otis vs Riddle as an Elimination Chamber qualifier before the start of the match.
The Dozer immediately took control of the match and knocked Riddle. Riddle tried to make a comeback, but Otis stopped him every time.
Mr Money in the Bank punished Riddle, but the latter gained some momentum as he yanked his head over one of the ropes. Riddle tried to hit the R.K.O., which Otis countered but fell short by a twisting Senton for the win.
Result: Riddle defeated Otis
“The Est of WWE” Bianca Belair took on Carmella. However, Queen Zelina was not there to offer her support.
Belair took control of the match and knocked Mella down with a waist lock. Then, the Most Beautiful Women in WWE slapped Belair, making Belair chase her around the ring.
However, Carmella caught her in the ring and stomped her to the mat, but Belair came back and knocked her down with a shoulder tackle.
Carmella tried her best to take the match away from Belair with a chin lock, but The Est recovered and hit the K.O.D. for the pin.
Result: Bianca Belair defeated Carmella
Rey Mysterio competed in a singles match in over two years for a spot in the Elimination Chamber.
Rey went for a waist lock, but Styles reversed the hold and hit down. The Master of the 619 hit a sunset flip for a quick two count before Styles went for the headlock.
Styles blocked a sliding splash with his knees, but Rey put him into the barricade with a hurricanrana. The Phenomenal One countered the second hurricane from the top rope but couldn’t avoid the next one. Finally, Rey hit the 619, but the impact wasn’t that great.
The Phenomenal One knocked Rey with a Pele Kick and eventually hit the Styles Clash for the win.
Results: AJ Styles defeated Rey Mysterio
The show’s main event was not a match but the return of Women’s Royal Rumble 2022 winner Ronda Rousey. She said she has been thinking about which champion to challenge at WrestleMania as she has unfinished business with both women.
Lynch came out and mocked Rousey and asked her about whom she plans to challenge at WrestleMania. Rousey took her down with an arm drag and mentioned answering her on Friday.
After Rousey left, Lita came out and gave compliments to Lynch but, in the end, challenged her to a match at Elimination Chamber, which Big Time Becks accepted.
