WWE RAW Results, winners, and grades: The Miz steals Rey Mysterio’s mask
The penultimate episode of RAW before WrestleMania saw some steady build-ups to the matches in line for the Show of Shows. Kevin Owens impersonated Stone Cold Steve Austin, Austin Theory missed a chance to beat the United States Championship Finn Balor, and more.
And, we start with this RAW results, winners, and grades.
When the glass broke to kick off the show, the crowd in attendance in the Allstate Arena thought Austin has appeared for a trailer before WrestleMania. However, much to their dismay, it was only Kevin Owens, dressed in a black Austin 3:16 T-shirt, knee-length jeans, and wearing knee braces like Austin and he came to the ring to deliver another sizzling promo.
It’s clear that Austin won’t be making an appearance before WrestleMania and Owens will have to carry the entire build-up on his shoulders. He is doing a good job at that. Owens spoke as Austin and explained how he will get beaten up by Owens at WrestleMania.
The 37-year-old then called for the beer cans but he couldn’t catch the cans in two attempts. He blamed the guy at ringside for not tossing the cans correctly. Owens called him to the ring and asked him to place the can in his hand. The scared guy reluctantly entered the ring and gave the can to Owens who hit a stunner on him.
Seth Rollins’ new plan
Seth Rollins was asked backstage about him not being on the WrestleMania card. The Visionary went from distraught to elate in a matter of seconds.
He laughed in his own hysterical way and then took the microphone and left.
The Mysterios versus The Dirty Dawgz
The Miz appeared on commentary and made his entrance with Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode. Dolph and Rodde started the match on a positive note as The Miz claimed that he is at ringside to study his opponents for WrestleMania.
Dominik and Rey delivered a double ‘Suicide dive’ taking out Dolph and Roode.
Seth Rollins interrupted the match as he said on the microphone he tried to book a WrestleMania moment against Austin but this week he wants something bigger. However, before he could complete, his microphone was cut off.
The match continued in the ring as Dominik and Rey worked in tandem to keep The Dirty Dawgz at bay. Dominik hit the frog splash on Roode to secure the victory. Ziggler hit Dominik with a Superkick after the match. Rey chased Ziggler outside the ring but The Miz pushed the master of 619 into the ring apron and delivered a Skull Crushing Finale. The A-lister ripped off Mysterio’s mask to deliver the ultimate insult.

Towards the climax of the match, Morgan looked to crawl towards her partner to make the tag. Baszler however, took Ripley down from the apron and took the Nightmare out. Natalya delivered an assisted clothesline on Morgan to win the match and pick up momentum heading into The Grandest Stage of Them All.

The match started and it was a fast-paced and exciting affair. Both wrestlers showed off their agility and in-ring acumen. McAfee enjoyed Balor hitting Theory with some hard moves and said he will incorporate all the moves of other wrestlers that are required to beat the new “protege” of Vince McMahon.
