WWE Raw results, winners, grades and reaction: The Viper, Randy Orton, was poised to speak to Edge and address the Rated-R Superstar’s WrestleMania 36 challenge on this week’s show.
Again, Raw was held in front of an empty arena due to the coronavirus pandemic. There were no fans or audience members on the show, but there were some great highlights today.
Drew McIntyre and Brock Lesnar were also to speak about their match at WrestleMania and that is where we began this week.
Heyman speaks up
Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar came out with the advocate doing his normal bit of bigging up the champion.
Heyman went on to say that Lesnar had no chance of defeating McIntyre and an old match of the champion was played.
Grade B
It has become a norm now for WWE to show old matches and they decided to show one where The Beast was dominant.
Heyman’s speech wasn’t anything new, but he can still send out a message, with or without a crowd.
Boneyard match
AJ Styles doesn’t seem to be scared of the Undertaker, despite what the Deadman did last week.
The Phenomenal One again taunted Taker’s wife, Michelle McCool and claimed that she had taken his soul away.
However, Styles added he would bring that back for Taker and wanted to fight him in a Boneyard match.
Grade B
This was another typical Styles promo that he has been cutting for a few weeks now. Adding the stipulation of the Boneyard match does make things interesting as there would be no real rules and could hide Taker from having to do too much actual wrestling in the ring.
Andrade and Garza impress
Andrade and Angel Garza have become the No.1 challengers for The Street Profits’ Tag team titles at WrestleMania.
The champions were on commentary duty as the challengers, with Zelina Vega beside them, faced off against Ricochet and Cedric Alexander.
Andrade and Garza impressed as a pair and continued their great form since Garza teamed up with Vega and co.

They got the win over Ricochet and Alexander before a scuffle with the Profits after the match.
Andrade and Garza beat Ricochet and Alexander
Grade A
Finally, some wrestling to speak about. This was as good a match as you could expect but it is a little weird how Garza and Andrade have suddenly become the No.1 pair to face the Profits.
The match was still great with all four men doing their bit and this could be one of the best fights at WrestleMania.
Street Profits in action
The champions were next in action as they faced Shane Thorne and Brendan Vink.
It was a surprise seeing Thorne and Vink getting a chance to show off against the champions, and they did fairly well.
However, it were the champions that picked up the win in the end.

Street Profits beat Vink and Thorne
Grade C
Not the greatest match and the face that WWE doesn’t have someone else to fight the tag champs was a little surprising.
The Profits are great as a pair but need better opposition, or bigger opposition, to keep showing just why they are champs.
Lynch takes her shot
Charly Caruso got Shayna Baszler in a bad mood and the challenger talked straight. She wanted to destroy Becky Lynch and win the Raw Women’s title at WrestleMania but there was another twist in the tale.
The Man came out from nowhere to smash Baszler with a steel chair and hit her rival a few more times before walking away.

Grade A
This was the perfect segment, almost. Baszler looked great on the microphone while Lynch showed that she was ready for the challenge.
This also was the perfect setup from last week when the Austin 3:16 celebration didn’t work for everyone.
Black mass
Aleister Black will face Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania, which is a little weird. He got some action by facing local talent Leon Ruff and was done in a few seconds.
A Black mass helped Black to pick up the win with little to no effort.

Black beats Ruff
Grade D
Black can do a lot more than squash opponents. Most of us already know he is one of the best in the ring and giving him local talent to destroy doesn’t make much sense, just like his battle with Lashley at WM 36.
Rollins responds to Owens
Kevin Owens challenged Seth Rollins to a match at WrestleMania and the Messiah responded to that.
Rollins cut a brilliant promo as he destroyed Owens and said he would win the match over the failure.
Grade A
Another promo which Rollins hit out of the park. The former champion has been great since his Messiah gimmick on Raw and this could be a match for the ages.
Orton is here
We got to see another old match from WrestleMania but the main crux was Orton coming out to speak.
The Viper has been on a tear in recent weeks and was challenged by Edge in the previous show.
What @RandyOrton has done… he's done out of love. #Raw pic.twitter.com/p1BT6NFnxQ

Orton accepted the Last Man standing challenge from Edge, and even cut a great promo.
Grade B
The rivalry between Edge and Orton seems to be increasing week-by-week and the Viper looks set for a huge match at WrestleMania 36.
Orton vs Edge could be the fight of the night, especially with so much bitterness between them. However, it will be interesting to see how Edge copes with a possibly long match.
