Sasha Banks walked out on Monday Night RAW after having a creative dispute with WWE. PWInsider revealed that the current WWE Women’s tag team champion walked out on Monday’s taping in Norfolk, Virginia, after having issues with their roles in a six-pack challenged match to determine the next challenger for Bianca Belair.
According to the Wrestling Observer, Sasha Banks was upset earlier this year when Ronda Rousey was given a WrestleMania title match WWE had planned for her. So she has pushed down the card to the women’s tag team titles as a concession.
Sasha Banks and Naomi were vacated from their tag team titles. They were also suspended for an indefinite amount of time. It has also been said that Vince McMahon was informed of Banks and Naomi’s departure ether shortly before RAW began. A backstage vignette between Becky Lynch and Adam Pearce setting up Asuka and Lynch as the main event was pitched on the spot with McMahon approving it.

According to Fightful Select, The opening of SmackDown last week was initially set to feature Sami Zayn, but that didn’t end up being the case.

Zayn was caught on the top rope before dropping Nakamura, but the latter dropped Zayn. However, Sami managed to hit a Michinoku Driver on the outside before trying to get the count-out. In the end, Nakamura sent Zayn to the time keeper’s area and then set up the Kinshasa to get the win.
