Kevin Owens seems set to leave after his WWE deal ends

Many rumors are going around in the wrestling world regarding WWE star Kevin Owens is leaving WWE soon.

Kevin Owens opened the show on this week’s Raw (WWE)

According to Jon Alba on his podcast show Living The Gimmick (h/t cagesideseats), Kevin Owens is very near to end with WWE.

Alba quoted as saying,

“There is very much an internal belief [Kevin] Owens is gone at the end of his WWE deal.”

If this happens, he will be heading towards an AEW signing and reuniting with former WWE stars Adam Cole and The Bucks. Kevin Owens has been a popular star for WWE Universe having won the Universal Championships once, United states championship thrice, and was also an NXT champion.

Owens may move to AEW soon

Since Kevin’s WWE contract is coming to an end speculated that he might be going to AEW after that.

Owens also tweeted some coordinates to Mouth Rushmore in South Dakota, changed his bio location in his Twitter account to “Almost There,” and mentioned some coordinates.

Kevin Owens was a part of a team called Mount Rushmore with Adam Cole and The Bucks. But Owens left the stable when he signed with WWE in 2014.

Owens is a part of the WWE SmackDown brand. His contract ends in early 2022. So Owens’s insertion to AEW could be a massive boost to AEW Roster.

In recent times, many superstars have joined hands with Tony Khan’s AEW, and recent inclusion could be of WWE superstar Kevin Owens.

Things are really heating up between WWE and AEW as both try to compete each other in the pro wrestling market.
