WWE Superstar Sasha Banks rumored to make early return to in-ring action
Sasha Banks has been missing from WWE for a few months but was forced to return to action for some mandatory sessions.
According to Cageside seats, WWE has been calling in wrestlers early to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando for mandatory training. They also note that talents who’ve recently asked for time off weren’t exempt from the trainings including Banks.
Banks is currently taking a little time off so the other two women on SmackDown build a good storyline. The rivalry between WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair and Bayley has boiled over in recent weeks with a match at Hell in a Cell.
Vince McMahon is also looking to shake things up in the WWE locker room trying to make more visits to the training center with Banks present. Banks is now one of the wrestlers to make her return in the women’s division with Becky Lynch also set to come back after relinquishing the title last year.
Banks is now on the road to her return with an early return, which could mean a return to the blue brand soon. She is sure to be part of the title picture when she arrives back to WWE.
What do we expect from Sasha Banks this year?
Banks last appeared at WrestleMania 37 when she lost the Championship to Bianca Belair. The match was known to be one of the best at the PPV and delivered to everyone’s expectations. The EST Belair has been impressive in her debut title reign and has already shrugged off many from the division.
The Boss’ return would make things interesting for Belair who will be wary of Banks’ skills in the ring. Banks is a four-time women’s champion but has failed to continue a long reign in her time on both brands.
Belair v Banks is looking increasingly likely once the feud with Bayley is over. Perhaps, a feud with the three could make things spicy by the end of the year.
