WWE Rumors: Return date of The Fiend/Bray Wyatt confirmed ahead of WWE Raw

The Fiend has been missing since losing at WrestleMania 37 but WWE seems to have confirmed his return on Raw

Bray Wyatt, AKA The Fiend, is one of the most interesting characters in WWE but he has been missing since losing at WrestleMania 37.

The Fiend faced Randy Orton after a long rivalry but the match ended thanks to Alexa Bliss. Bliss distracted The Fiend for Orton to get the win and Wyatt has been missing ever since.

Alexa Bliss turned on The Fiend at WrestleMania 37

Bliss, for her part, has continued her story and has targeted many WWE female stars such as Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax but there has been no mention of Wyatt.

The Fiend hasn’t even said much on social media, apart from taking a shot at the Zombie lumberjacks at WrestleMania Backlash.

However, WWE could have confirmed when Wyatt is set to return. Cagesideseats posted that Bray Wyatt is set to return on the 9 August episode of Raw, and that has been advertised.

Nothing apart from this has been said and it will be interesting to see if Wyatt actually does make an appearance on that Raw episode.

SummerSlam would be just a couple of weeks after the reported return of The Fiend. That would provide him ample time to get involved in a storyline.

SummerSlam is one of the biggest PPV events of the year for WWE and it would make sense for The Fiend to return then.

Matt Riddle has been channeling his inner Randy Orton (WWE)

It is to be seen who exactly The Fiend could target once he returns. Orton is in a great storyline teaming up with Matt Riddle, and The Viper also missed out on Money in the Bank despite The Bro filling for him in a triple threat match.

Wyatt is one of the best story tellers in WWE too, and his promos should be interesting when he returns. Bliss also could be in his sights after she cost him big at WrestleMania.
