WWE SmackDown episode of May 20, 2022, will air tonight from the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids – Let us know about the preview, match card, Predictions, Venue and Timings.
The May 20 episode of SmackDown will continue to build towards WWE Hell in a Cell. Only one match announced for SmackDown is RAW Tag Team Champions RK-Bro vs SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos in a Winners Take All Title Unification Match. We will also be looking at the Sasha Banks and Naomi incident as they walked out of RAW and more.
1. Who will be the possible challenger for Ronda Rousey
Tonight’s SmackDown will be featuring more build towards Hell in a Cell as the search for new challenges for SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey continues. Additionally, there is a high chance that recently returned Lacey Evans will come into the picture.
However, WWE has also teased a possible #1 contender’s match between Shotzi and Aliyah. It will be interesting to see who becomes the challenger.
2. Replacement for Sasha Banks and Naomi
As we know that WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Naomi have dropped their titles with WWE Talent and Relations head John Laurinaitis as they walked out of RAW this week.
PWInsider revealed that the current WWE Women’s tag team champion walked out on Monday’s taping in Norfolk, Virginia, after having issues with their roles in a six-pack challenged match to determine the next challenger for Bianca Belair.
Many sources said that Naomi would lose to Belair at Hell in a Cell. Though not confirmed, it was also noted that some sources believed that Banks would go on to face WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey at the same event, with Banks also losing.
Tonight’s SmackDown episode will see WWE deciding on this. We might see some #1 contender tag team matches if they wish to make some stable new champion.
3. RAW Tag Team Champions RK-Bro vs SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos in a Winners Take All Title Unification Match.
Friday Night SamckDown is set for The Winner to Take All Tag Team Title Unification Match between RK-Bro and The Uso. Originally, this match was supposed to happen at WrestleMania Backlash; however, it got converted into a Six-Man Tag Team clash as Roman Reigns, and Drew McIntyre got involved.
The Bloodline got the better of the newly formed trio. We might see an even better performance from RK-Bro as they will be looking to bounce back and grab all the titles at once. But Reigns might interfere again and make sure that Riddle and Orton don’t go on top.
So will The Bloodline be leaving SmackDown with all the gold, or can RK-Bro turn the tables around?
