WWE SmackDown Preview: Just days after WWE released several stars from their roster, including agents and producers, SmackDown returns to action.
The world was shocked when Vince McMahon terminated several employees from WWE, including some big names, however, the show must go one.
WWE SmackDown has some big storylines set for this week’s show, and here is the preview.
The friendship between Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose was cracked when the truth came out about how Dolph Ziggler and Deville played with Otis’ date with Rose.
Deville will try to patch up with her best friend in hopes of fixing the situation, which should be interesting given that Rose had slapped Deville recently.
With Money in the Bank a few weeks away there are several qualification matches set up for SmackDown.
One sees Naomi take on Dana Brooke, which should see an interesting clash of styles. Brooke is a power-hitting while Naomi has some unique offence on her side.
The other big match sees a qualification match for the men’s match. Cesaro takes on Daniel Bryan but there is a lot of heat between the pair.
Bryan lost out on winning the Intercontinental title from Sami Zayn, and he can get some form of revenge by beating Cesaro, Zayn’s teammate.
Sasha Banks will be up against Tamina on SmackDown, and should Banks lose, then Tamina faces Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s title.
Now, that stipulation was made by Bayley last week with Banks surprised at the call. This could lead to a major implosion of the relationship between Banks and Bayley.
The WrestleMania bout for the SmackDown Tag Titles was weird with only one member of each team fighting in the triple threat match.
Although John Morrison retained the titles, the other three members will slug it out on this week’s show.
The Miz vs Jey Uso vs Big E will be a tough match to call. However, it seems the deck is stacked against Morrison and the Miz.
