WWE SmackDown preview: Roman Reigns and Robert Roode fight it out in a tables match

WWE SmackDown preview: This week’s SmackDown episode has one major return to talk about but two big stars face off in a tables match.

Roman Reigns has been fighting against King Corbin and Dolph Ziggler in recent weeks. However, The Big Dog was ambushed by the returning Robert Roode last week.

Reigns went through a table as the heels celebrated and this week’s SmackDown sees The Big Dog take on Roode in a tables match.

Corbin and Ziggler will have a role to play in all this and it will be interesting to see if Reigns can get the win over Roode.

The Big Red Machine is back

Kane hasn’t been seen in a WWE ring for a while and it was a little shocking when SmackDown confirmed he was coming back.

The Big Red Machine is also the Mayor of Knox County WWE teased that Kane could be a participant in the upcoming Royal Rumble match too.

Banks and Evans round 2?

Lacey Evans was expected to face Sasha Banks last week, but The Boss ditched the fight to record a song.

That allowed Bayley to attack Evans from behind, and the two had to be separated by officials.

The match-up between the pair has been confirmed for this week’s SmackDown, and this could lead to Evans’ biggest win since coming to WWE.

The Guru returns to action

In another major return, John Morrison will finally get a chance to showcase his abilities in the ring.

The Guru of Greatness made a shock return to WWE a couple of weeks ago and was by Miz’s corner in the previous SmackDown episode.

Morrison faces Big E on Friday night, and the Guru has to be at his best to beat The New Day member.
