WWE SmackDown preview: The first SmackDown after TLC is upon us and there are some interesting matches planned for the show.
The promotion confirmed that The New Day will face Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro in a non-title match.
The SmackDown tag champions, New Day, dispatched The Revival at TLC and it will be interesting to see how they do against their new challengers.
Cesaro and Nakamura look decent as a pair, but the presence of their ‘manager’ Sami Zayn could be the X-factor in this battle.
Bayley was surprisingly not involved in a match at TLC but will continue her feud with Dana Brooke.
Brooke faced the SmackDown Women’s champion last week but couldn’t get the better of her.
The former member of Titus Worldwide has received a bit of a push in recent weeks, but will she rise up to the challenge and beat the champ?
Daniel Bryan was taken to a dark place by The Fiend a couple of weeks ago, and we saw clumps of the former champs hair in Bray Wyatt’s hand.
The Miz faced Wyatt (not The Fiend) at TLC, and it seemed that the A-Lister would be pummelled by a mallet after the clash.
However, Bryan came rushing out to save Miz and also laid some hits on Wyatt. This was a new look for the former champ (old look actually) as he shaved off his locks and beard.
Will we hear more from Bryan ahead at SmackDown?
Roman Reigns was handed a loss by Baron Corbin at TLC, but the King had a lot of support from other parties.
The Big Dog would be looking for revenge and it will be interesting to see what his next steps could be.
Sheamus has also teased a return in recent weeks but we haven’t seen the Irish star in action yet.
