WWE SmackDown Preview: SmackDown features one huge match on this week’s show.
NXT Champion Charlotte is up against SmackDown Champion Bayley. The pair have been at each other’s throats for a while, and this should make for an interesting battle.
Charlotte has been appearing on Raw and SmackDown recently, and Sasha Banks might have a role to play on all this.
WWE SmackDown has some other big matches set up too, and here is this week’s preview.
The Intercontinental championship tournament will also be in full swing on this week’s SmackDown.
Jeff Hardy faces Sheamus in one of the matches on the show. The Charismatic Enigma’s return hasn’t been accepted well by Sheamus, and the winner of this clash goes on to face Daniel Bryan.
Hardy looked good in the win over Cesaro at Money in the Bank. However, The Celtic Warrior will be a different beast for Hardy.
The other match confirmed for SmackDown sees AJ Styles try his luck out against Shinsuke Nakamura.
Styles was unlucky to drop the Money in the Bank briefcase into the hands of Otis at the PPV. However, The Phenomenal One has a chance of picking up gold via this tournament.
Nakamura, for his part, is a former IC champion and this first round clash should be interesting. Sami Zayn was stripped of the title recently, and the Japanese star could be looking at some retribution for his friend and former champion against Styles.
The rivalry between Otis, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville and Dolph Ziggler will reach another level on this week’s show.
A mixed tag match sees Otis and his girlfriend, Rose, take on Ziggler and Deville. Deville and Rose have traded barbs on social media since their friendship ended.
Ziggler, for his part, was beaten by Otis to reach the Money in the Bank PPV. Otis made that chance count as he won the briefcase, and it will be interesting to see how this match goes.
