Tonight’s episode of SmackDown will be featuring Riddle challenging Roman Reigns for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship. WWE is also promoting that Mr. McMahon will appear tonight, indicating that he will be speaking in character. Max Dupri reveals his first client and more!
1. Mr McMahon will appear on SmackDown tonight.
WWE is promoting that Vince McMahon will appear tonight, and they have specified that it will be Mr McMahon who will be on SmakDown, which indicates that he will be speaking in character.
As reported earlier, WWE and its Board of Directors have announced that Vince McMahon has stepped back from his responsibilities as Chairman and CEO amid an investigation into alleged misconduct. However, his role in the company’s creative direction is not changing s. Stephanie McMahon was appointed as the interim CEO and interim Chairwoman.
2. Max Dupri to reveal his first client into Maximum Male Models
Max Dupri burst on the scene several weeks ago and built significant anticipation about these Maximum Made Models.
Finally, Dupri is set to unveil the first client in his Maximum Male Models stable. This reveal was initially promoted for last Friday’s episode but was pushed back a week later.
3. Last Laugh Match between Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss
WWE has also announced a Last Laugh match between Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss for tonight’s SmackDown. Moss has defeated Corbin in a No Holds Barred match at the Hell in a Cell event and put Corbin out of action by smashing part of the ring steps down on a steel chair that was wrapped around Corbin’s neck.
4. Riddle will challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship Match
Last week on SmackDown unofficial member of The Bloodline, Sami Zayn, went one-on-one against Riddle in SmackDown’s main event match. If Riddle lost that contest, he would have been forever barred from the blue brand. Still, he won the game and earned himself an opportunity to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title.
This week on Monday Night RAW, Special Counsel Paul Heyman dropped a bombshell, however, when he revealed a special stipulation that had been added to the matchup. Suppose Riddle loses the matchup on Friday night. In that case, he will never be able to challenge the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion again as long as Roman is the titleholder!
