This April 22 episode of SmackDown will continue to build towards WWE WrestleMania Backlash 2022 event. As of now, three matches are announced, which include a Lumberjack match and someone on one action. Additionally, the Usos and RK-Bro rivalry will continue and more!
Match Card and Predictions
1. Butch will face Kofi Kingston
Butch has been a violent force ever since his main roster debut. However, two weeks back on SmackDown, he lost to Xavier Woods which added more to his anger.
Tonight he will be looking to take his revenge on Kofi Kingston in some one-on-one actions. We could see some interference in the match, resulting in Kofi winning it.
Predictions: Kofi Kingston def. Butch
2. Angel took on Madcap Moss
Madcap Moss is searching for his redemption after breaking his paths with Happy Corbin. Last week he defeated Homerton in a singles match in a dominant way.
Tonight he will be gearing up for more redemption as he faces Angel in a singles competition. With the kind of performance he is giving, this can be another easy win for Moss.
Prediction: Madcap Moss def. Angel
3. Lumberjack Match between Sami Zayn and Drew McIntyre
The last two weeks of SmackDown saw Sami Zayn running away from his match against Drew McIntyre. So to counter all of it. SmackDown General Manager Adam Pearce made sure that nothing like this happened this time.
So he put Zayn in a Lumberjack Match against McIntyre. It is pretty sure now that Zayn won’t be able to run from the ring, which will eventually result in the match that all have been waiting for. McIntyre should win it.

4. RK-Bro vs The Usos rivalry continues
RAW Tag Team Champion RK-Bro will face SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos in a tag team title unification match at WrestleMania BackLash.
Last week we saw an epic ending to the SmackDown episode after Riddle defeated Jimmy Uso in a singles match. RK-Bro were the last men standing at the end of the show. Will we see the same thing tonight, or will The Usos will make a comeback?
In some special mention, we can expect the Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns and former UFC Champion Ronda Rousey should be back on tonight’s show. Both of these stars were not present last week for unknown reasons. But they are scheduled to appear tonight.
WWE is also set to tape the WrestleMania Backlash go-home edition of SmackDown tonight, which will be the May 6 show. They are taping the episode early as they will be in London next Friday, April 29.
