WWE SmackDown again easily won the ratings war after a brilliant episode

WWE SmackDown has been killing it when it comes to the ratings and they did a great job, once again, this Friday.

Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens battled again and it was Reigns who was sent through a table. Adam Pearce also played a huge role as he came out to fight Paul Heyman before being beaten up by Reigns.

Further, we saw Asuka and Charlotte team up. Big E vs Apollo Crews was all set for the Intercontinental title while Cesaro also put on quite a show.

There was another big event on SmackDown this week. Bianca Belair had been a target for Bayley in recent weeks and the pair took part in an incredible obstacle course challenge.

WWE SmackDown ratings

The ratings for this SmackDown was just slightly more than what it did the previous week. The first hour of the show got 2.284million viewers, according to Showbuzz Daily (h/t Wrestling Inc).

Hour two was also more or less the same with 2.280m viewers. Last week’s SmackDown recorded 2.262m viewers over the two hours while this week it was around 2.282m.

This would be an increase of just about 0.9% while the demo rating was 0.6 in the 18-49 segment. Last week the demo rating was 0.67 and the only show that beat SmackDown on this demo rating this time around was Shark Tank.

SmackDown has been on quite a charge in recent months and they seems to be keeping the ship steady while Raw and NXT suffers a lot of poor ratings.
