WWE SmackDown ratings and results: This week’s WWE SmackDown had one big story developing as Roman Reigns had attacked Jey Uso and Kevin Owens with steel chairs.

The Tribal Chief seemed set to defend his WWE Universal title at TLC against Owens, and he wasn’t in a mood to deal with Uso’s shenanigans either.

It was Uso who goaded Owens and Reigns for the clash and well, the cousin got a beating from Reigns.

That storyline and heel turn from Reigns has helped pushed SmackDown’s ratings a lot. Further Sasha Banks has been a big draw too and she was involved in a major rivalry with Carmella.

The pair were to meet up on this week’s show and ended up taking over the main event with the title on the line.

The SmackDown ratings for this week also got a bit of a boost with 4% more viewers than last week.

SmackDown is still the most watched wrestling show on television and again crossed the 2million mark on both hours.

The first hour saw 2.14m viewers while the second hour saw 2.07m thanks to the excellent main event between Carmella and Banks.

There was more good news for WWE as the show was tied with some of the higher viewership shows in the important 18-34 demography.

SmackDown also got 0.6 in the first hour of the show, which beat all other shows on TV during that hour.
