WWE SmackDown Results and Grades: With Survivor Series the next big PPV, SmackDown was also going to set up its teams for the big battle.
The Raw Women’s team was decided on Monday and only a couple of spots were left on the Men’s one.
However, there was also the reaction to Roman Reigns and Jey Uso fighting at Hell in a Cell. That is how this week’s WWE SmackDown episode started and here are the results and grades:
The Tribal Chief is here
Jey Uso, Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman opened the show. Jey claimed he didn’t beat Reigns because the champion attacked Jimmy but Reigns says he still quit.

Uso and Reigns traded barbs before Jey started crying as he didn’t know how Reigns could do this to his own family.
The champ didn’t care much as he said he was still family to his cousin but that would change if he didn’t accept him as the head come the end of the show.
Grade B
Reigns and Uso were on point in this segment and WWE haven’t been able to mess this up one bit so far. It will be interesting to see how far they can go with this, but this storyline has been fun.
KO vs Ziggler
This was the first Survivor series eliminator with Robert Roode accompanying Dolph Ziggler as he took on Kevin Owens.
😮 😮 😮
Somehow, THAT wasn't enough to put @FightOwensFight away! #SmackDown @HEELZiggler pic.twitter.com/QjnX97VZUw

Roode tried to interfere in the match but was kicked out by the referee. In the end, it was Owens who got the win via a Stunner.
Owens beats Ziggler
Grade B
This wasn’t anything great as both men did their bit to put on a decent match. It was great to see Roode getting more TV time too and for once, the referee did kick out someone for interfering in the match.
Triple threat madness
Adam Pearce had his hands full as Billie Kay, Natalya and Bianca Belair all wanted a spot in the Women’s Survivor Series team.

A triple threat match started with Kay initially letting the other two battle. All three women had their part to play in this match but it was Belair who booked her place for Survivor Series.
Belair beats Natalya and Kay
Grade B
Belair is the rising star in the women’s division and it made sense to put her on the team. It will be interesting to see who else is on the team, especially with Raw having decided its members.
Murphy’s law
Murphy came out to the ring with Aalyah Mysterio as he wanted to apologize to Rey and Dominik for all the problems he had caused over the past few months.
Seth Rollins came out and said he was going to forgive his disciple and accept his relationship with Aalyah.
DIAL IT UUUuuuuu…. maybe not??? 👀#SmackDown @reymysterio @WWE_Murphy pic.twitter.com/z8A11ghJDK

That led to a brawl with Dominik and Rey coming out and Murphy then attacking Rollins. However, the Mysterio men then attacked Murphy before Aalyah stopped them.

She said she was in love with the Australian which saw Dominik and Rey leave the ring. Murphy and Aalyah kissed in the middle of the ring as Rollins looked on.
Grade D
While everyone did their bit perfectly in this segment, this storyline is just not right. The age difference between the two lovers is one thing and frankly, WWE need to find something better to do with all those involved.
Tag team action
The SmackDown tag champions, The Street Profits, took on Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro after cutting a promo.
WHAT JUST HAPPENED!? 😱 😱 😱#SmackDown @WWECesaro @MontezFordWWE pic.twitter.com/dAEMFh4aMe
— WWE (@WWE) October 31, 2020
The two teams put on quite a show but it were the Profits that got the win in the end.
Profits beat Nakamura and Cesaro
Grade B
All four men know how to put on a show and this was another quality match fro them. The Profits vs the former tag champs should be their first rivalry and they will put on other great matches too.
After this segment, Bayley and Sasha Banks traded barbs and the pair could clash next week for a title rematch.

Bryan vs Jey
This was also for a place in the Survivor Series team with Daniel Bryan taking on Jey. Reigns and Heyman watched from the ringside as the two stars beat each other up.

It was Uso who got the win in the end and then he shocked everyone by joining Reigns. Reigns didn’t say much as he looked at Bryan which saw Uso attack the former champion.

Uso then put Bryan through a table and finished the show by attacking him more.
Uso beats Bryan
Grade A
The story of Uso making it to the Survivor Series team is big since he beat a seasoned singles veteran in Bryan but the bigger story is what is he ready to do for Reigns?
Joining his cousin makes sense in terms of the storyline and it will be interesting to see what is next for the pair.
