WWE SmackDown results and winners: John Cena vs Roman Reigns set for SummerSlam
Finn Balor was going to sign the contract to face Roman Reigns after a shock appearance on SmackDown last week.
However, John Cena was still keen on facing Reigns, even after the Tribal Chief declined his challenge.
WWE SmackDown had some big twists and turns this week and we start off this results and winners piece with the Leader of the Cenation.
John Cena attacks Baron Corbin; Son helps father
Cena slammed Reigns regarding the Tribal Chief’s comment of Cena staying the same for nearly 20 years or so. He also was interrupted by Baron Corbin and refused to help the broke WWE star before giving him an AA.
The first match of the evening was Rey Mysterio vs Jimmy Uso. However, it was some help from Dominik, Rey’s son, that got the Mysterios the win.

The Boss saves the day; Reginald stars again
Bianca Belair was in the ring for an interview but got attacked by Carmella and Zelina Vega. However, it was Sasha Banks, returning from her last outing in WrestleMania, that saved the day and celebrated with the champion.
The next match of the day saw Reginald defend his 24/7 title against Chad Gable, and the high flyer did a ton of high risk moves before Otis attacked for a DQ.

John Cena hands a blow to Roman Reigns
Finn Balor and Roman Reigns were seated at a table to sign the contract for SummerSlam. However, Corbin attacked Balor and wanted to sign the contract instead.
Cena then came out to attack Corbin and signed the contract with Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce confirming the SummerSlam blockbuster.
Six man tag; Edge attacked
Big E, Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro teamed up to face Dolph Ziggler, Bobby Roode and Apollo Crews in a six man tag match, and it were the faces who got the win thanks to Rick Boogs.
Edge then made his way to the ring before being attacked by Seth Rollins brutally. Rollins then cut a promo and claimed Edge couldn’t be a champion if he could not.

Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks crack
After the earlier attack on Belair, she teamed up with Banks to take on Carmella and Vega.
Banks and Belair were able to get the win before The Boss attacked her rival. She destroyed Belair before making the EST of WWE tap out.
