WWE SmackDown results, winners, grades and reaction: The final show before WrestleMania 36 had to lay down some work before the mega two-day event.
John Cena speaking to Bray Wyatt was the main attraction for this show, but there were some surprising moments from this week’s SmackDown too.
Miz TV madness
The Miz and John Morrison hosted Miz TV with The Usos and The New Day also present.
This was going to be crazy, to say the least, and all six men brawled outside the ring. The match at WrestleMania 36 is a ladder match, and it was the Miz and Morrison that stood tall after this mini-battle.

Grade B
This was a great way to start off the show with not a lot of talking and some decent action too. Miz and Morrison celebrating on SmackDown could be the momentum they need to keep the titles, however, The Usos and The New Day are two of the best in the business and won’t make things easy.
Triple Threat match
Tamina vs Lacey Evans vs Naomi was up next as all three women are part of the six-pack challenge for Bayley’s title at WrestleMania.
The match went off well with all three women doing their bits. However, Sasha Banks distracted Evans while Bayley did a number on Naomi.
Tamina did the rest by picking up the win, however, she put the champion on notice by superkicking her.

Tamina wasn’t done though as she also hit a Samoan drop on Banks to highlight her dominance.
Tamina beats Evans and Naomi
Grade B
This match was actually fun with Naomi and Evans also showing off their skills. It is, however, interesting to see that WWE is pushing Tamina so well ahead of WrestleMania.
She is a monster and could pick up the title, but is she ready for a run as the champion?
Goldberg to face Strowman
There have been rumours of Roman Reigns backing out of WM 36 due to the coronavirus, and WWE made that announcement just after SmackDown.
BREAKING: @Goldberg defends the #UniversalTitle against @BraunStrowman THIS WEEKEND at #WrestleMania!

Braun Strowman faces Goldberg for the title, and it will be interesting to see how this goes.
Grade C
This was expected but WWE should have made the move a while back. They could have built a mini-story before this, but let’s see how this match takes place.
Otis reveals the truth
Tucker took on Dolph Ziggler in a one-on-one match as Otis ran off before the clash even started. The Showoff dominated throughout and got DQed after a Zig Zag on the steps.
He was about to inflict more punishment on Tucker but Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville came out to stop him.
However, there was more to come as a hacker took to the Titantron and Otis came out too. It was revealed that Deville had caused Otis to miss his date with Rose and Ziggler was also in on all this.
Rose was left shaken after the revelation and was left unhappy with Deville and Ziggler.

Tucker beats Ziggler
Grade B
While the wrestling didn’t lead to the high grades, it was the revelation after that which got the marks.
There is not much known about who the new hacker is, but surely, it would have been better to keep the reveal at WrestleMania.
Bryan in action
Last week, Drew Gulak won his clash to give Daniel Bryan a shot at Sami Zayn’s Intercontinental title.
This week, it was Bryan taking on Shinsuke Nakamura in a one-on-one clash. Of course, Gulak, Zayn and Cesaro were at the respective corners for their mates.
Bryan almost got Nakamura to tap to the Yes Lock before Cesaro interfered to hand Bryan the DQ win.
Gulak was disposed of easily before a three-on-one assault took place just a day before WrestleMania.

Bryan beats Nakamura
Grade B
Nakamura and Bryan did a great job together in the ring and could be a precursor of better things to come in the future.
Apart from that, it was the regular fair as the heels took a slight advantage ahead of WM 36.
Cena is here
John Cena came out to address a challenge from Bray Wyatt on last week’s show. Wyatt wanted Cena to fight him in a Firefly Fun House match, and the leader of the Cenation accepted.
Cena also cut a great promo highlighted he was up for the battle against anything, including the gimmick match.
The puppets from the Fun House made their entrance all around the empty arena and claimed Cena would play with them forever in the house.
The Fiend then made his presence felt by appearing before Bray Wyatt suddenly was behind Cena. Before Cena could do anything, the lights went off and Wyatt vanished as the show ended.

Grade B
Another effective segment from WWE. This didn’t need to involve any attacks as the mind games of Wyatt shone.
It will be interesting to see what kind of match takes place at WM 36, especially with the puppets coming out to play.
