WWE announce a name change for Sefa Fatu to Solo Sikoa
During this week’s NXT, WWE have announced that Sefa Fatu is coming under the name of Solo Sikoa. While WWE NXT was on air, a promo cut showcasing the name “Solo Sikoa.” Later, the NXT Twitter page posted this:
There is no information on when Sikoa will making his NXT debut. He was signed to a developmental deal by WWE earlier this year and seems like he finally has got the opportunity to make his debut.
Who is Sefa Fatu aka Solo Sikoa?
Sikoa comes from the legendary Anoa’i family and is the younger brother to the Usos and son of Rikishi. He was signed by the WWE along with five wrestlers as a part of the WWE Performance Center recruits back in August.
It is a bit confusing as to why he wasn’t given the same surname as the Usos. From what it seems like the plan can be of creating a different identity.
Sikoa started his wrestling training back in 2018 and was a part of the Indie circuit before finally getting called up by the WWE. He has certainly moved up through the ranks pretty quickly. Sikoa’s debut has been teased just after a little over a month of being signed with the company.
Sikoa will look to build up on the family name and get to the main roster of WWE. Moreover, a potential entry to the Bloodline is also not out of the window. He can certainly join his brothers the Usos and his cousin Roman Reigns if he manages to get to the main roster.
