Former WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins has a new name on Raw
WWE Superstar Seth Rollins has undergone a new change to his ring name as the company is referring to him by an altered moniker.
WWE has added Rollins name as he appears to officially be going by Seth “Freakin” Rollins. Rollins had previously used the middle name as a nickname, but WWE.com have updated several articles suggesting that the name change is official.
Since joining WWE as a part of the NXT brand in 2010 in the name of Tyler Black, which was renamed, Rollins debuted as a part of The Shield in 2012 on the main roster and Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose.
Seth Rollins had some fun with his new ring name
Former Universal Champion took to social media and made some fun at the change of the name, saying that it was what’s on his birth certificate.
“Seth FREAKIN Rollins. On the birth cert babes.”
The name was officially confirmed at WWE Day 1 when Rollins was announced to the ring as Seth “Freakin” Rollins alongside his entrance nameplate, reflecting his recent change.
Rollins was one of the five men who competed for the WWE Championship on Day 1. The match was initially set as a Fatal-4 Way between Rollins, Kevin Owens, Bobby Lashley and Big E.
Rollins and Owens should do excellent teamwork as they took down ‘The Beast’ Brock Lesnar on numerous occasions and took down Big E as well. It will be interesting to see if the company is planning some storyline for this frenemy Rollins and Owens.
