The Rock shares glimpse of Black Adam

Black Adam starring the Rock will be releasing soon

The Rock will play Black Adam in the Shazam spin-off which is set to release on the 29th of July, 2022. The movie stars Noah Centineo, Pierce Brosnan among others.

Black Adam is an antihero in the DC comics who is Shazam’s nemesis. Hailing from Kahndaq, Black Adam was imprisoned for 5000 years.

With the movie set to release soon, The Rock released the first look of the movie featuring him.

Taking to social media, just like he usually cuts brilliant promos, poured out all the hype for his villainous character.

His post came in the wake of DC Fandome virtual event which is set to take place today.

Stating that he had an evil face while typing the same, the Rock wrote:

“You’ve waited for years. So have I. TOMORROW at approx 10:06am PST, I’m honored to deliver the WORLD EXCLUSIVE First Look at the ruthless and unstoppable force known throughout the universe as THE MAN IN BLACK. I have an evil smile on my face as I’m typing this 😊😈The hierarchy of power in the DC UNIVERSE is about to change. JOIN US TOMORROW for our global event — only at DCFANDOME.COM.”

The Rock was featured on the cover of November 2021 issue of Vanity Fair.

He took to Twitter to share his reaction to the same:
