51-year-old R-Truth is one of the most loved WWE Superstars and is also known for his affinity for music.
Ronnie Aaron Killings, popularly known as R-Truth, is a 2-time United States Champion and a 2-time Hardcore Champion. However, he put the WWE 24/7 Championship on the map by winning the title for a record 54 times. R-Truth is also a former WWE Tag Team Champion alongside Kofi Kingston.
R-Truth loved music even before he got into wrestling. In fact, it was his music career that led him to WWE. During R-Truth’s initial days in the music world, R-Truth got the privilege of meeting Tupac Shakur at the 1992 Jack The Rapper convention.
I was doing street thing, North Carolina, that’s where I grew up,” R-Truth explained in an old interview on Hot 97. “I’ve been doing music since Jack The Rapper. That’s where the picture with Tupac, Eazy-E, and all of them come from. If you Google me with Tupac, yeah they’re all legit.”
R-Truth made his debut in WWF (now WWE) under the name of K-Kwik. He used to rap his way into the ring and continued to do the same when he returned as R-Truth in 2008.
The American professional wrestler is also famous for his comic skills. He is exemplary on the mic and garners huge pop from the WWE Universe for his hilarious exploits.
