The Canadian professional wrestler Rene Dupree has always had an enviable physique. This was one occasion when his sculpted body landed him in an uncomfortable position
The 38-year-old former WWE superstar in his podcast, shared an incident that happened backstage before his match at WrestleMania 20.
Rene Dupree explained how he had been preparing for his match at The Grandest Stage of Them All. He said he used to hit double sessions at the gym for weeks to be in the best shape of his life come the big event.
Dupree was getting ready to team up with current NXT 2.0 producer (likely in a trial period) Rob Conway. They were going to face the team of Booker T and RVD, The Dudley Boyz and the team of Garrison Cade and Mark Jindrak in a four-way World Tag Title match.
Dupree said he was waiting behind the curtain right before his match. He applied his customary baby oil and started doing his warm-ups, when Vince McMahon started staring at his body with eyes wide open. According to Dupree, Vince looking at his body “freaked the f*ck out [of him]” and he felt uncomfortable at how the chairman of WWE was goggling at him.
Vince McMahon’s love for bodybuilding and wrestlers who are well-built is no secret. Rene’s night of horror further validates the fact.
There are rumors of the 76-year-old Mr. McMahon getting into a feud with Pat McAfee this week on The Pat McAfee show.
Vince is slated to be the special guest this week on Pat McAfee’s show. Rumors have circulated since last week that Mr. McMahon may have a feud with Pat which will culminate at WrestleMania.
Most people are certain that Mr. McMahon won’t be wrestling himself but have someone to wrestle on his behalf. According to most, it is going to be Austin Theory, whom Mr. McMahon, looks to have taken under his wing.
This week on Raw, Austin Theory mentioned the last time Mr. McMahon did a sit-down interview, things got heated as he, “slapped the papers out of the interviewer’s lap and scared him to death.” Austin volunteered to go with Mr. McMahon to the show so that if McAfee misbehaves, he can protect him. Vince though said that “it’s not that kind of a show.”
This will be Mr. McMahon’s first live interview in at least 15 years.
Austin Theory has a lot of potential and is just 24-years-old, so he has a lot of time to learn and excel. His segments with Mr. McMahon will hold him in good stead going forward.
