The four horsewomen of WWE have been the cornerstone of the women’s division shaping the company into what they are today

The group, together known as The Four Horsewomen, has been on the pillars of a groundbreaking era in women’s wrestling in the WWE. The four women started their careers with the former black and gold brand between 2012 to 2013. Starting from the developmental brand, all four of these women have now reached new peaks in their careers. The group consisted of, Charlotte Flair, Bayley, Becky Lynch, and Sasha Banks.

The path of these four women has always been interconnected with each other. From, starting their career together to even achieving everything together. Their February 2015 Fatal Four-Way match at NXT TakeOver Rival was the next big step in the company. They proved to the world that women in WWE are not just eye candies.

They further went on to have some other great matches, such as Charlotte vs Sasha Banks in Hell in a cell, WrestleMania triple threat between Banks, Flair, and Lynch, and the first-ever women’s main event in WrestleMania, which featured Flair, Lynch, and Ronda Rousey. Ronda Rousey and Asuka although not technically a part of WWE’s four horsewomen, are a very vital part of the women’s evolution in the company.

How has 2022 been treating these women wrestlers?

Ronda Rousey had her last WWE match in the Wrestlemania main event against Lynch and Flair in a losing effort. But recently, she has returned and is on a roll. She made her comeback at this year’s Royal Rumble and has since appeared at every Raw and Smackdown since that. She won the 2022 Royal Rumble and has her spot booked at this year’s marquee event. According to reports, she is also being booked for Wrestlemania 39 next year. It is to be seen if she will get back to her full-time schedule like her initial run.

1.Becky Lynch-

“The Man” of WWE is currently the hottest WWE superstar ever since her fateful night against Nia Jax in 2018. Her bloody face took her to new heights of stardom. She is on a roll right now which is not going to end anytime soon. She along with her husband are one of the industry’s top stars now. She is young and at the top of her game. She is the current women’s champion and is currently in a feud against Lita. Post the Lita feud, WWE has big things planned for her.

2. Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair is one of the greatest female wrestlers in WWE right now. Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair is the ‘Queen.’ But recently she has been having quite some trouble. Issues have arisen, regarding her backstage problems. And now with both Ric Flair and her partner Andrade out of the company, Flair might also be looking for a way out.

3. Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks has been the boss, ever since her debut in 2012. She has had some excellent matches during her stay in the developmental brand. Once she was promoted to the main brands, she went on a roll. At first, she was in a forgetful tag team alongside Naomi and Tamina Snuka but later found the limelight. She went on to have some excellent back and forth matches against Charlotte Flair and won the title as well. She was involved in the WrestleMania 32 triple threat match that retired the Divas Championship and brought the Women’s Championship. She is still young and has a lot of success waiting for her.

4. Bayley

Bayley has been a babyface ever since her debut. From next to the main brands, she maintained her babyface persona but that was taking her nowhere. Her gimmick soon turned stale and her character boring. Then, back in 2020, she did the unthinkable. She turned heel on Sasha Banks. Her revamped character got a lot of praise and she quickly rose the ranks and won the championship. Currently, she is out of action owing to an injury.
