We got our first look at Starfield gameplay, Cocoon’s mysterious story, High On Life’s weird tone, and Obsidian’s new narrative adventure, Pentiment, at Microsoft and Bethesda’s E3-style showcase event. Many of the games are due out on Game Pass day one. In case you missed anything, here is everything announced during XBOX Bethesda Games Showcase 2022. Although fans may have missed titles such as Hellblade II, Senua’s Saga, and Avowed, what was presented was nothing short of amazing. To know all the details, read below.
Gameplay from Redfall kicked off the show. Redfall was developed by Arkane, which also announced a few weeks ago that Starfield would be delayed to 2023.
Fans get to see gameplay footage of Hollow Knight Silksong. After much anticipation, we finally got to see some gameplay footage of Hollow Knight Silksong. It was also announced that the game will launch the next year and will be Day 1 Game Pass.
In comparison with Forza Horizon 5, Forza Motorsport took the spotlight this year. Developed by Turn 10, the beautiful simulation racing title has detailed car customization. To make things even better, Forza Motorsport will bring on-track ray tracking, as opposed to GT7’s garage-only ray tracer.
With this partnership, Game Pass owners will have access to all Riot games and will receive perks across all five Riot titles. Riot Games creates popular esports titles such as League of Legends and Valorant.
A free update to Microsoft Flight Simulator adds the Pelican from Halo Infinite. Microsoft Flight Simulator got a great trailer to commemorate its 40th anniversary.
Streaming on PC and Xbox, a new trailer shows off Sanctuary’s dark world, revealing the last playable character, the Necromancer. Blizzard also showcased the game’s couch co-op feature.
It’s taking place in the Middle Ages in 16th century Bavaria, Pentiment surrounds players with contemporary visuals and a narrative journey seen through the eyes of journeyman artist Andreas Maler as he experiences a period of great social unrest. The game has been in development for about four years now and is finally coming out in November.
Zenimax Studios debuted a trailer showcasing everything new in The Elder Scrolls Online’s new expansion, The High Isle.
Set to release next year, Vin Diesel, who’s also executive producing the game, rides a dinosaur in the trailer with his daughter, played by Moana’s Auli’i Cravalho, is by his side. There is not much information about the full gameplay yet.
Flintlock: the Siege of Dawn – As part of the amazing Game Pass lineup for Day 1, Flintlock: the Siege of Dawn, formerly announced, was showcased with some amazing gameplay footage.
The Last Case of Benedict Fox – It seems like The Last Case of Benedict Fox is similar in some ways to the Ori series, although with a darker tone. But in addition, it has a smoother combat system with weapons.
Naraka Bladepoint – This will be the first time that Nakara Bladepoint is available for consoles exclusively, and it will have a campaign mode along with a battle royale mode.
Pentiment – Avowed and Outer Worlds 2 were not present at the show, but a new title, Pentiment, was announced. The game featured a painting-like aesthetic in terms of its visuals.
Cocoon – Cocoon, a new puzzle adventure game from the creators of Limbo and Inside, is the latest Indie title to join the roster. A Day 1 Game Pass release is also planned for this title.
Wo Long Fallen Dynasty – Xbox fans have been requesting more Japanese collaborations, and the company has finally delivered. Wo Long Fallen Dynasty is a souls-like take on the Chinese dynasty developed by Team Ninja (of the Nioh series fame). On Day 1 of Game Pass, the game will be released.
Kojima partnership – Kojima, regarded as one of the biggest names in video game development, appeared on the show and revealed that his company, Kojima Productions, is working on a new title in partnership with Xbox.
Starfield – After what seemed like an eternity, fans were able to see a little gameplay footage of Starfield. The gameplay footage, while drawing comparisons to No Man Sky, was undeniably exciting, increasing the anticipation for the game.
